New reports are saying Today show anchor Matt Lauer is splitting from his wife, Annette Lauer, after 12 years of marriage. The reason? Annette claims he’s been cheating.
She first confronted Matt while he was filming from Vancouver during the winter Olympics, after some staffers told her that Matt had been cozying up with some of the other female staffers.
According to Radar Online: “This isn’t the first time Lauer has allegedly cheated, two years after their 1998 wedding, Annette reportedly discovered Matt had carried on a secret affair with a married woman just months before their wedding!
In 2006, while pregnant with their their third child, Annette filed for divorce, feeling she could no longer trust her husband, but subsequently withdrew the divorce petition after one month.”
Wow. Matt Lauer has always had a squeaky clean, handsome good guy image. This infidelity scandal would definitely do a detriment to his career…

I can almost guarantee that every man or woman who’s in the entertainment industry, has cheated one time or another. Looks and image have nothing to do with anything. Anyone is capable of cheating and they do it because they know they can. He’s really no exception.

I think everyone needs to realize that we like these people in the entertainment industry for what they do, not how they live. So we should just stay out of their lives. Personally I could care less if he cheated, that is the same for Tiger because they are both great at what they do. So there
