guest
Ha, most emphatically not.
daisy / 630 posts
I’m a mom, so, obviously not.
guest
@soyeahthatswhathappened@xanga - lol, same.
guest
Yes. I conceived my son through osmosis (or more correctly diffusion) of my husband’s sperm.
guest
What’s ‘kind of’ about being a virgin? I thought it was cut and dry.
guest
@Cambios@xanga - to put it simply, oral! Lots of people are sided on whether that is actually sex.
orchid / 216 posts
I consider myself a virgin. But I put the ‘kind of’ because from what happened once some people might not consider me one. It’s a weird long story.
guest
Yes and I’m proud to be one.
guest
@Cambios@xanga - I have a friend who told me she had sex, but didn’t “completely have sex.” that it was “part way in.” some people are messed up and seem to need that kind of category. lol.

Yes.

@CombinedEffort@xanga - psssh what about virgin mary?
guest
Nah, I’m no virgin.

Considering that a lot of Lovelyish’s readership is very young, I’m happy to see that over half of ‘em are virgins.
guest
Yes, I am.
guest
No.
guest
i fail to see the significance of this question.
guest
Depends on what you mean by virgin. By most peoples definitions I’m not a virgin. Actually, by pretty much every definition. Hahaha.

@MissPixieGlitter@xanga - it’s a *poll*, there’s rarely any deep significance.
guest
@Jessica - fair enough.
i think people place too much stock in virginity or lack thereof.
guest
Nope. Lost my virginity when I was sixteen, almost exactly three years ago. I wish it had happened under different circumstances but I don’t waste my time with regrets.
guest
Is this poll part of your psych class?
guest
LET ME CLEAR THINGS UP, A VIRGIN HAS NEVER BEEN PENETRATED BY ANYTHING, INCLUDING A DILDO FOR WOMEN, AND FOR GUYS A VIRGIN TYPICALLY DESCRIBES A MAN WHO HAS NEVER PENETRATED A FEMALE, EXCLUDING BLOW UP DOLLS.
guest
Yes, I am, and PROUD OF IT! waiting till I’m married to have sex~
guest
@DAMN_itsz_KRYSIE@xanga - what about tampons? I hear some girls break their hymen with that shit.
guest
Nope. No regrets.
guest
nope

Yes I am. :]
And for the record, choosing to not have sex until marriage isn’t just something that Christians decide to do. It’s something that a lot of people wait for.
daisy / 630 posts
@dianchik_icons@xanga - she lied. haha
guest
51%??? No wonder I agree with none of you. Most of you are ether religious nuts or idiots.
Proud not to put stock in something that does not need it, as virginity.
guest
I smiled because there are more virgins; totally made my night. I’m not totally regretful, but it’s nice that more young people aren’t recklessly sexing it up.
guest
@Vairyl@xanga - Tampons don’t count… They’re kind of a necessity, unless you want all women to bleed on the ground…
And I’m a virgin still.
guest
@Vairyl@xanga - Yes, that too. But few women were born without hymens, so in my definition, virginity means actual sexual penetration.
guest
@darkangel6541@xanga - i thought there were pads still out there?
@DAMN_itsz_KRYSIE@xanga - o0oo.
daffodil / 1540 posts
@meta_k@xanga - i’m really glad you said that, because it’s really commonly misconceived as something only religious nutjobs do.
orchid / 234 posts
yeah?
hydrangea / 77 posts
@soyeahthatswhathappened@xanga - only in anti-religion and anti-virginity circles. The ones with religious reasons also have non-religious reasons and therefore understand that you don’t have to be religious to choose to wait. Therefore I’m also glad @meta_k@xanga said that because Christians don’t want it seen as a “Christians-only” thing either.
guest
Hella no.
guest
I’m married–so no.
But I waited ’til marriage.
guest
yes, im
guest
@DAMN_itsz_KRYSIE@xanga - So a man is allowed to continue calling himself a virgin after using a form of simulated sex (blow-up dolls) but a woman is no longer a virgin after using a dildo? Screw that, man! A dildo is not alive and cannot take viginity any more than accidently breaking your hymen with a tampon can.
guest
yep and proud of it!!
guest
yes and hope to stay that way til I’m married.
guest
no, but the only one I have ever been with is my husband…
