I had been craving for wig for a while. Since I dyed my hair blondish 2 years ago, it’s been a disaster trying to keep my hair decent looking. I don’t have the habit of investing a lot of money for my hair. (I been trying to convince myself to buy high quality shampoo and conditioner but still have yet to buy it.) Thus, you can imagine how ugly my hair looks after the roots grow out. About half year ago I dyed it back to dark color so I don’t have to hassle with dying my hair anymore; however, I still crave for the light color hair… then I realized perhaps I should wear a wig, that way I can turn blonde whenever I want to, and my natural hair doesn’t get damaged either!
Ancient Egyptians are usually bold, since it is hard to keep clean and lice infection from the extreme heat. They used wig to protect their head from the sun; it is also a form of fashion and social status.
I am infatuated with Egyptian’s look, whenever I came across an Egyptian theme movie; I just have to watch it! Although I don’t think they usually take off their wig during the movie. (I suppose the actresses don’t want to be bald!)
