brooklyn definietly has the “sexy” body. but i think allesandra is gorgeous

Allesandra reminds me of an emaciated Colt. Not in a mean way, I mean, yeah, it’s her body, but it’s just sad. I favor Brooklyn’s figure more. It seems healthier/ more toned.

I was lead to believe that Allesandra’s boobs were way bigger than that.

The one all the way on the left has a pretty disgusting body, but a pretty face.

They’re not Photoshopped in this - so what? They’re still gorgeous enough, clearly, to be considered models. And yes, we all have imperfections – to point them out in people who we know get Photoshopped for a living is annoying. It shows how happy you are when others are being put down for flaws – what a sad fact.

This post seems contradictory to past Lovelyish posts on body image. If you wanted to reflect a healthy body image, you would not single out any one of the girls as looking the ‘sexiest’ or the best. Isn’t beauty supposed to come in all shapes and sizes? They all look fine. 

Crystal looks the best in this one. Alessandra has something funky going on in her midsection.

I always feel a little better about myself when I see models or celebrities sans photoshop. Sometimes I forget that the perfection the media tries to force upon us is an utter lie.

the one on the left looks like shed blow away in a strong wind. middle is too jiggly for me. and the one on the right is just eh.

This makes me feel a little better because I feel like I look like the two on the right in my swimsuit.  I still want to tone up a little more, but at least I know that I don’t look that bad relative to real models.

So Alessandra is the only skinny one. The other two should start doing some crunches.

I think it would be prudent to point out that the ripples in Alessandra’s midsection are abs, not ribs. Thus, all the “she is way too skinny” comments need to stop.

The one in the middle looks like crap, work out!  It’s healthy for you.  the one on the right looks good, but Alesandra is still the best. she looks great 

crystal does not look sexy in this, that’s a horrid angle on her. she has the most voluptuous body and is definitely beautiful, but come on, that angle makes her look wider than she obviously is.

Holy crap.  the one on the left is too skinny & looks anorexic, the one in the middle looks like a fat slob & the one on the right is just ok in my opinion.  I am completely shocked!  They really must photoshop the shit out of these girls.  All three of them really look horrible, no muscle tone & unhealthy.  I can find sexier bodies just looking through my highschool class on facebook.

I think they all look fine.. what is wrong with you people (some of the commenters) ?  Have you ever seen what a real body looks like? This is why excessive photoshop is harmful; it makes people forget what real bodies look like. The one in the middle would look much better if her bathing suit was a tad bigger and if she wasn’t slouching, the one on the left can probably stand to gain a few pounds, but otherwise looks fine and the one on the right looks perfect.

It’s amazing how many bitches are here on Lovelyish. I believe this post was meant to show that women are beautiful at various sizes and shapes and that the amount of photoshop used in the industry is atrocious. Comments like “THESE are supermodels?!”, “Ale looks the best — she has the flattest stomach”, “Uh, the middle one needs to work out”, and “people only like her because of her big boobs” just show that all of the pressure put on women today stems not only from the media, but from people like you. Who are you to judge whether or not they are good enough to model. They get paid the big bucks so obviously what they are doing is working for them. Lay off. Seriously.

And I thought that we already agreed that the most skinny does not automatically equal the prettiest? Way to allow yourself to be brainwashed; hope that is working out for you. And for those of you hating on Crystal Renn without even knowing her history: good job. She used to have an eating disorder and this is her natural weight eating a normal to slightly lower than normal amount of calories. I don’t understand why you expect her to run her body ragged and starve herself just to go down one size to please YOU. Get. Over. Yourself.

for art classes… And I would be surprised if it really wasn’t retouched at all.

@smallandprettyplease@xanga - Just because they’re not posing for the picture, doesn’t mean it’s absolutely, positively, untouched. You’d be surprised how subtle Photoshop changes can be. Even just increasing the contrast, in this bright, sunny, beach setting, could bring out the shadows more and bring out their flaws. Of course, direct sunlight doesn’t flatter anyone, really.

Photo editing (or not?) aside, I’d have to say I’m liking Alessandra’s body the most. Personally, I just don’t find Crystal or Brooklyn that sexy. My body looks more like Alessandra’s, out of the three, except I’m crazy short and she probably isn’t much heavier than me at all.

And stop whining about her supposed ribs – Those look more like abs to me. She looks pretty toned in that area, actually. Yeah, if she stretched her arms I bet you’d see some ribs, but come on…

Wow! Beautiful, all, of course, but very different than what we are led to believe. So much more normal and average looking than the magazines make us think. How is it, though, that I know women who are nobodies who look good enough to appear in magazines without the photoshop? How do these ladies land these gigs? (Maybe a few years back when they looked more “typical” of American beauty?)  I mean, if we’re using photoshop to this extent, even I could be a supermodel! (Not that I’d want to.) considering how people rave about crystal renn being this famous plus-size model and everything, she actually doesn’t look very big at all. if anything, she’s just slightly bigger than brooklyn decker(who looks like kevin bacon in drag btw). compared to brooklyn(whom is praised for her healthy toned body), crystal is just less toned esp in the midsection and legs… oh, i’d always love allesandra although she looks mighty skinny here. but then again, maybe its cause she’s doing more runaway these days.

@dancesmilelaughwithme - i think all 3 regularly do print work but allesandra occasionally does high fashion/lingerie/bikini runway too so that might explain why she’s so tiny. and i assume crystal and brooklyn have done runway too but more like plus-size(for crystal) and bikini/lingerie(for brooklyn).

Sometimes pictures are photoshopped to actually make them look worse. How do you know that that didn’t happen here? Not saying that they look bad, but you seem keen on pointing out the flaws.

After reading the comments I’m even more convinced that the general public has a very limited knowledge of a) modeling, b) photography, and c) photoshop. Creating images of beautiful girls for catalogs and magazines is so much more (and less) than taking a picture, essentially creating a fake body, and “airbrushing.” I think these ladies are completely recognizable as the models they are.

Gawd – two of them are positively FAT! When I was a model a billion years ago – there was no photoshop and we had to look good naturally. Consequently we were bullied and abused into being thin and perfect. I hope these girls are experiencing less damage these days as a result of computer enhancement (rebuilding) x
