I can’t stand body hair (on myself, anyway) I think it’s because I’m Italian.. seriously. People always joked about hairy Italian women… and I do see some evidence of it in my family. Rather than become the joke, I’d rather get rid of it all.

I shave pretty much everything from my neck down, daily. I’ve gotten good at it.. doesn’t take long. I can add it into my shower time and still be out in under half an hour.

I’m weird, I know.. no need to point it out..haha.

like every 2 weeks cuz the hair under there grows back slllooooowwwww.  I would be shaving my skin if I shaved everyday and that also can be a cause of dark patchy armpits due to irritation of the skin.  

Every three/four days. The hair doesn’t grow that fast.

used to be every day or i’d feel gross and prickly.

but i got laser hair removal, and now, NEVER. it’s fantastic. 

Every day because I have dark hair and pale skin and even just a little bit is super noticable.

i, too, am pale enough to require every day maintenance.  i’m used to it by now.  just part of the morning routine.

I don’t shave, I epilate every few days. If I dress strategically, I won’t have to for a couple weeks. Regrowth is pretty slow and mostly unnoticeable too.

My legs are another story… thank goodness for jeans  although that feeling isn’t too pleasant either.

My hair grows soooo fast it isnt worth trying to shave everyday. I only shave when my armpits are going to be exposed, otherwise I would drive myself crazy shaving.

I’m actually starting the first round of laser hair removal today. Woohoo!

its a bit gross but i’m lazy.

Every other day since any more and i get some bad razor burn. I do my legs every 2-3. If its winter and i’m single, its more like every 5. haha

I just use deodorant…

Not enough, haha.  I shave when I know I’m going to be showing them in a tank or dress.  So, all summer…but hardly ever in the winter

Whenever I feel it needs it. Sometimes not for a couple days and other times every other day. It’s not something I really worry about until I notice a jungle popping up.

Hm I don’t get why girls shave. Epilating or tweezing leaves me completely hairless for 3-5 days.

wow, i could never use an epilator or tweezers there.  my skin is far too sensitive.  i shave every 2-3 days.  

I started waxing my underarms a few months ago and it was the smartest decision ever. The hair grows in lighter every time you do it, and sporadically too. I only have to get it waxed like every other week

yea i epilate so not very often. i stopped shaving a while ago cuz i have sensitive pits and if i shaved everyday id get razor burn, i never have but i could only imagine.

Every day or else I look like a hairy-man-beast! Sexeh, no? XD

About twice a week.  It doesn’t grow very fast.  My leg hair grows even slower so I only have to shave my legs once a week. ^_^

My underarms get shaved about every other day, maybe 2-3 days at the most. That’s because mine grows really fast and I don’t let it get beyond stubble. It’s just more hygienic that way–the more hair that’s under there, the more sweat that’s trapped and will produce odor (regardless of deodorant/antiperspirant).

I don’t shave my armpits.

I don’t have that much armpit hair, so I just tweeze it once in a while…

During Spring-Fall (we don’t have seasons in Texas, haha!), everyday, or every other day, depending on what I’m wearing.  In the Winter, once or twice a week =X

Two. Every day hurts, my hair grows generally fast so every two days is enough

i wax ittt =] at home. which means i leave it for liek a week or 2 but it takes longer to grow back

I had surgery on my armpits and it’s a big ass scar on each. So I rarely wear sleeveless clothes. Shaving isn’t really pleasant because the skin there is so sensitive now.

every 2 days. Im getting mine lasered off tho. I hate hair everywhere besides my head, eyebrows, and arm (not including underarm) 

I shave my armits every single day. Sometimes I go a day without shaving, but thats all I can bear because I can’t stand hair under my armpits…In other places like my legs I don’t really care, plus even when the hair on my legs grow back its not as visible (only to me if you look closely) and doesn’t bother me so I don’t care.

Whenever my boyfriend starts complaining.  If I didn’t have him, I wouldn’t shave them.  Why should I when its perfectly acceptable for men to have horrendously hairy armpits, legs, and arms?

I really don’t shave unless I’m in a hurry to go somewhere and I’ll be wearing something exposing.

I just tweeze every three days or so. It takes me less than 3 mins on each, it stays smooth for so much longer, and the hair grows back thinner and slower.

Actually, I’m working on eliminating a razor from my routine altogether. I don’t like how it’s such a temporary fix. I’ve recently learned how to make sugar wax at home (though I need to work on not BURNING it) so I can use that for my legs and arms and … ahem, lady parts. Maybe even underarms too.

I shave my underarms only when I know they’ll be seen (even a cardigan over a tank top will swing open and reveal unwanted hairy-ness so that counts too in my book).

I’m not going to lie, sometimes my armpits won’t be seen for days on end and it does gross me out to have underarm hair, but here are my following reasons as to why I’ve gotten over the gross-ness: a) my underarm skin is so sensitive that they bleed every time I shave (and I use Dove deodorant which helps some, but hasn’t fixed it completely); b) At home waxing kits have a tendency to rip out only half the hair until the folicles bleed and the finishing oil won’t allow the rest of the hair to stick to the wax to get it out (and I wash off the finishing oil with soap at least 4 times); c) I don’t have the money to go to a salon to have them waxed, and d) I’m allergic to any and every cream hair removal I’ve tried.

Bottom line: I’m smooth when it matters and I’m not putting myself through useless torture for my smoothness to go unappreciated

When I feel like it. I grew it out for a while, but was self-conscious about it. But it helps that I have a boyfriend who honestly thinks I’m beautiful, even up close

But seriously…..there is such a double-standard when it comes to men & women, and how much upkeep is expected. Keep my legs shaved? Forget about it…do you know how large a square area my legs are? I have long legs! People need to learn to feel beautiful as nature intended…the phenomena of LIFE is amazing & beautiful enough, without everyone having all of these silly expectations…

It grows naturally on EVERY person’s body; I don’t see why it should be such a big deal if I leave it there.

I swear, my shower-make-up-hair routine takes less than 30 minutes altogether and people still accuse me of being high maintenance just because I’m efficient at working with what I got and I don’t take unnecessary measures. Girls should listen to people like you so they can see that they’re already beautiful and it’s not gross to be natrual! Hell, I have a friend from high school that wouldn’t shave at all during the winter because the only people who saw her hairy legs and underarms were her and her boyfriend, and I admired her for it

@vixen_with_a_cause - Its nice to finally meet a sane person, haha.  I used to shave everything everyday, including my arms themselves.  You may be one of the least high-maintenance girls I know.  My makeup/hair routine takes around 15 to 20 minutes, but if you work a shower in there, it’ll take around 45 to an hour…mostly because my hair is very badly behaved.  Haha.  I shower at night.  Its easier that way.  
Your friend definitely should be admired.  So many girls are so uncomfortable with having any body hair at all.  Not that we can help it, we’ve been conditioned this way.  A personal preference is a personal preference.  But its sad that being natural is considered disgusting.

lol armppit-jizzle hahaha.. I shave every second day.. sometimes i’m lazy and shave every 4 days.. I don’t have much hair and don’t usually wear shirts that reveal anyways

Pretty much everytime that I have a shower/bath. So pretty much everyday since my armpit hair grows super fast.

I shave almost everyday when I take a shower.

I totally agree! Women shouldn’t be expected to completely hairless
when men don’t have to do anything. I only shave when I want to wear
something that shows my bare legs or underarms, which isn’t that often.
Even then I only do it because it’s socially unacceptable to have hair
in those places.  While I’m not afraid to defy other social standards
for women, no hair removal is not one I’m brave enough to go against.

Hmm. Well since i don’t wear clothes that show the area often, even in the summer, i guess every 3-5 days, or whenever the regrowth is that noticeable. I would probably epilate if i had an epilator, or use those wax strips…but i am currently too cheap to invest in either of those…and i absolutely despise body hair. I used to try to pluck every hair on my arms and legs with tweezers (and still do sometimes)…and that is awfully tedious. Then they still grow back and I /facepalm

it’s the conspiracy i tell you.

everyday.. it’s weird to see people say that their armpit hair grows back slow because mine grows back within one day, while my leg hair takes an unusually long time to get prickly. 

if i don’t shave them everyday it’s an unpleasant sight. and i can’t stand the feeling either. yuck.

I used to shave everyday, but it was a hassle because the hair wasn’t long enough to be shaven on the second day, so now I do it every 2-3 days.  But not gonna lie, when the weather gets cooler/colder, I shave 1-2 times a week (or less, but that’s usually rare) :X

I shave a lot in the summer but now that it’s colder I’ve been slacking on shaving my under arms and legs.  Too lazy and what’s the point?  I’m gonna be wearing long sleeve shirts and jeans anyways.
