I like it in very small doses, yes.  I don’t think being covered in a star print (like the cardigan or that black and white tunic/dress) would be appropriate for my age (24).  It would be okay for teenagers.

I LOVE the boots. but its probably because they look eactly like my steve madden boots except with stars and 50 dollars cheaper!  i also don’t like too many stars on my clothes.

Stars arrived about 4 years ago…then they were completely killed out….Now theyre just mega tacky

i cant stand stars…they look really tacky to me. usually.

i dont like this trend. this reminds me of stores that dont know how to design and thus put stars all over everything as a style. printed stars, that is. the star necklace from AE and those boots are cute though.

jeez, stars were big years and years ago.  i guess fashion really is cyclical.

found a Dickie bag over the summer that is plastered with stars, loved it and it’s the first backpack I’ve used in years – very cute

stars arent whats in, im gonna say it once, its gonna be huge for sequins and the roman shoes are around for another season, bacically go with shiny, and rember silver goes with anything

I like stars but I don’t really like your examples of how to wear them.

I don’t like wearing patterns with stars and hearts because they look too tacky for me.

I don’t have anything with star print but I’ll probably wear the tank top with the screenprint of the pink star.

i honestly think most things with stars on them look really tacky and cheap =/ these are no exception.

I LOVE stars!! I do agree that it has to be done in the right way. I love the necklace and the cardigan.

Things to avoid:
1. Diseases.
2. Uggs.
3. Shoulder pads.
4. Star print.

really? stars? wow. if there’s a shirt with stars that i happen to like i’ll get it, but i won’t purposely be on the look out for stars.

i was done with stars in fourth grade…i don’t want to be associated with them any more.

i adore stars<3 i agree most of those things look junior-ish, but sometimes i don’t mind still dressing that way. some days i go out in a black high waisted skirt with a cute, ruffle blouse and killer heels. and other days i throw on loose jeans, a junior tshirt, chucks and colorful braclets. i love being 21 because i can still get away with doing all different types of styles..epecially since i look a good bit younger then my actual age.

For anyone who would actually like to look like fashion-forward adults, let’s stick to actual trends for spring that have been present on the runway lately. For instance: abstract prints, bight colors, sheer fabrics, metallics, cut-out designs, the walking short, the slouchy pant, as well as short but full skirts. Lace is going out (sadly to me, since I think lace cab be great for spring), as is the whole sailor-inspired preppy, button-and-pleat-filled look that was so popular this fall and early winter.But, you know, stars are cute and all.

I love Old Navy! The star trend is fine, I like stars.

I like the scarf.

I think that the extreme color contrast is what makes the star prints tacky. Maybe if they chose a less glare-y combination, it’ll look better.
