I spend a good amount of time riding the subway to and from work every day and I often see a lot of strange and unusual stuff. Though this particular event is neither strange or unusual, it does stand out in my mind. While going home just last week, a whole family boarded the train. The parents had gotten their daughters similar coats in the same bright pink color, each of them wore the same black rain boots and two of the girls had the same side pony tail hairstyle. Wow.
In my opinion, dressing your kids alike is tacky and makes them feel less like individuals. Though it may be cute when they’re babies, it definitely isn’t when they get older. When I was younger, my aunt used to buy my sisters and I matching dresses. Sometimes they would vary in color. At four years old, I absolutely hated it.
What do you Lovelies think of dressing your children the same? Fail or win?
