sometimes I don’t like her choices (like sexy provocative pictures – I mean, you’re saying you want to send out the “right” message to young girls out there that you shouldn’t get beat up, BUT , you want to send the message that you can wear slutty clothes): Aiya Rihanna!

But, I still love her – she just makes bad choices sometimes.

It’s because she is badass.  I love her, lol, so I’m biased… What I noticed about the pictures though… she’s not smiling, and in two of the three she seems shy and afraid not willing to look at the camera…

@Nellie0x@xanga - I don’t think she’s using it to her advantage to gain anything, I really think it’s affected her just that deeply, and truthfully it hasn’t been that long since she was beaten… that’s really hard to “forget” and I don’t know anyone that’s been abused that would want to use it or want to be able to.

Just like on the cover of this magazine, it says.. “pop princess proves looking hot is the best revenge.” The same week her album came out, she did her first interview about the abuse. Coincidence? I think not.

Seriously, why is Rihanna in things?  Her singing is horrible and she isn’t even that pretty.  Who is her publicist?

I just remember when Ri-Ri first started she was this adorable girl with her ‘island flare’ and just, cute! And now she’s like, a little scary sometimes, lol. I’m not sure which is the ‘real Rihanna’ (or that it even matters?) anymore. I also think that these photos make her look way older than she is!

there is nothing wrong with black people having blonde hair, unless theyre extra dark and get platinum blonde hair. but rihanna is caramel toned, and has honey blonde hair, it accents her complexiion beautifully. so that was just a stupid comment you made.

@GORGEOUSxCREATiON@xanga - because it looks awful, especially since she only dyed half of it. It looks bad for the same reason that someone with platinum blonde hair should not dye their hair black. It’s unnatural and I really think a persons hair color should match, or be close at the very least to the color of their eyebrows, otherwise it just screams “FAKE!”

wow, I’m surprised by all the Rihanna dislike. I don’t think there is much range in facial expression in these pictures, but I think she looks good in them. I especially like the black and white ones (everyone looks better in b&w). LOVE her hair too.

I like it. There’s nothing wrong with female sexuality or the female body. And I think its very tastefully and artfully done in this case. As for her badass theme, I don’t see anything wrong with it if she’s happy with it. Not everything has to be a 30 second phase that some celebrity is into, they are allowed to be interested in what they’re interested in for as long as they are interested in it. And, if that is part of who they are right now, then why is that something to be hidden or changed?
