oh my jesus fuck that jacket is amazing. I would probably alter it to fit my style…. Dye it jet black, add some cone studs (maybe a thrifty patch or two for the grungy-er look) and maybe some lace or what have you. Then I would wear the shit out of it.

i was reading a blog last year and they reported on the double denim trend frequently but didnt have anything to say except how a celeb wore it but another blog bashed it so much. i dont have a problem because i wear my jean jacket with my jeans all the time and i dont feel like im overdoing it

as you can prolly tell, i HATE the all denim look.
i could see a denim jacket with leggings i suppose or with a dress, but i hate denim bags and hats and shoes it should stay on your legs in my opinion!

too much denim is not hot. I like the jacket but not paired with denim jeans. the purse looks like something a tacky cougar would carry because of the chains and the quilted look is overrated.

I think all over denim is 1980′s. I think you should wear what makes you feel happy. I like a jean jacket with jeans with a colored shirt underneath.

@tigerdauphin@xanga - The double bit is where you wear 2 or more items of denim at once, so jeans and a jacket both made of denim. Obviously denim is pretty much always in, but you don’t really see people wearing 2 pieces at once, most just stick to one item. x

people still rock double denim.. it has its spurts and moments but they’ve always hung around.  double denim, aside from the bottom half, has to be a certain cut to be played off correctly.. in my opinion of course.

I think denim will always be ‘in’, but the denim purse?And I absolutely HATE the denim skirts; they’re so… tacky.

Jeans and maybe jackets. But, not purses. As far as I can see, the only people who have a claim to denim purses and backpacks and whatnot are 12 year olds.

I only wear denim jeans. I really don’t like denim jackets, but the denim jacket in the picture up there is pretty cute.

Bags, no. Jeans – sure. Jackets – sure. Denim-on-denim [double denim] – no thanks: too matchy-matchy. I would have perhaps a denim blazer and a pair of twills to casual down, or basic jeans and a twill jacket – but not a 3-piece number in all denim….and the jackets would be neither pouf, rouche, ruffle, nor padded shoulder. I would also carefully ensure that none of the ensemble appears to have been attacked by a bedazzler, wielded by a blind person with a grommet gun.

god, i hope that trend never becomes a hit. denim is for jeans, that’s it! Unfortunately, I was at the mall the other day and i started to see denim suits *barf* and..shoes….*cries*

if there’s one thing i cannot stand it’s someone in a denim jacket AND denim pants at the same time. pick one item and go with it… no need to double (or triple) up on clothing of the same material.

I am a denim girl all the way.
But I don’t like denim jackets.
The purse is a different story.
But still not my preference
