The seventh season of Project Tim Gunn for President– I mean, Runway, Project Runway will premiere on Lifetime on January 14th.  While Launch My Line has Lady Gaga appearing this week, who will be the first celebrity to share critiques with Heidi and Tim?

That would be the newly brunette  Nicole Richie.  Richie was once the main disciple of Rachel Zoe, who appeared as guest judge as well two seasons back.  While she was certainly once seen as a style icon by many(whether or not you agreed with them-this chick’s outfits were being photographed on the daily at the height of her ‘fame’), since she’s gotten married and had babies, like Project Runway itself, she has faded into the background. 

I must admit, did not see much of the last season, but that had more to do with my own hectic apartment move and lack of cable than the show’s move to a new network, but it seems like I wasn’t the only one.  I didn’t notice much coverage in general of the last season, and I have yet to see the winner mentioned anywhere.  That’s a bit unusual considering how much we saw of Christian Siriano and Kenley(I know, she didn’t win–but she was the biggest ‘star’ of that season) after their seasons ended.
