Today I was trying on the cutest dress at TJ Maxx. You know. just wasting my money away.
It was square cut at the neck, with a cream white base with an attached black skirt and the zipper showing down the back. It fit my hips, covered enough leg, but didn’t fit my chest. I was kind of devastated.
This is the effect dresses have on me. Everything about the dress was great: the style, the fit, the neutral colors, and the way it made me feel. But my boobs look like they are being suffocated! The only problem with the dress was that it wasn’t made for anyone who is skinny and endowed.
So I liked the dress so much I bought it for my best friend because she would also look great in it, but then I thought about her assets. And we both were contemplating who had it worse when it comes to finding clothes befitting our bodies?

Having a larger bust is a gift. I have tried on a many of dresses that I thought my bust didn’t look so bad but it did look bad! I bought those dresses and then returned them realizing if it doesn’t fit, it doesn’t fit.
My best friend debated that she had it worse because even though certain dresses can’t fit my top, I can always find fitted tops. Wherein she can’t find a good pair of jeans made for bootylicious girls unless it’s one of those brands made especially but costs more than what pants should be.
Who do you think has it worse? Bootylicious or busty girls?

guest
lol i have both those problems… it is fine though… although jeans are a little more challenging then tops…
guest
i think both are a blessing
and you should stop influencing
people to think that curves are negative
there are women who look like men,
no offensive to them
who wish their body was different
i guess it depends on how you see it
but i’d rather be grateful than flat as a board
guest
i wouldn’t know.

You know what sucks is I have both of these problems. Not so much that my butt is bootylicious(kind of is I guess), but my hips are just wide and I can’t find jeans that fit both my hips and my thighs perfectly. I’m stuck between a 5 and a 7. They’re either too small or too big.
As far as my chest goes, well it’s big. I seriously wish they would shrink sometimes, it’s so hard dress shopping, which is probably why I don’t buy many dresses. I can’t wear certain types of shirts because of it and I have a hard time finding things that are both comfy and I like myself in. I definitely can’t wear bikini tops because I can never find one that fits my size.. I always feel like I’m falling out, there’s not enough support. Don’t even get me started on bras.. lol

Women with giant breast are more prone to looking fat if they’re not wearing the proper styled top.
guest
definitely bustier women. cause i mean thats the first thing people seee.

@sHaKeSpEaReH8ter@xanga - I agree.
I love having my curves, I have a great butt and I have big boobs. I can fill out a pair jeans that kick ass and having boobs is always great. But I think having a great booty is better, I mean…you can always work on your butt, when it comes to boobs you’re kind of just given what you’ve got. Unless you want to go down the plastic road that is. Haha…

I do think finding jeans for my big butt is harder than finding shirts to work with my larger chest. So, I guess big booty. I’m okay with having both though ^_^

I have both, and I don’t either one is bad.

LOLLLLLLLLLLL I LOVE THE CUPCAKES HAHAHA.

I think… “bootylicious” would have it worse, though that seems to occur less often?
I’ve been graced with a 100 lb body so at least I don’t have to worry about that xD
daisy / 570 posts
@snapeful@xanga - agreed.
but yeah ._. i wouldn’t know, i kinda lack in those departments.^^;
oh well :]
i don’t mind that much ^^;

I have both, I can fill out jeans really nicely and I got a great set of boobs, and yes curves are wonderful, stop thinking its all that bad, it really isn’t your given what the good Lord wanted to have to so enjoy what you got!

@sHaKeSpEaReH8ter@xanga - negativity? ahem the point of this post was to see who had more problems finding clothes. but i’m glad a lot of girls are bustier and have butts. i’m tired of scary skinny people.
guest
I’m busty and bootylicious.
so i’m gonna say people like me have an even harder time finding clothes
guest
i’m a bit of both, but it never really bothered me.
i’m thinking its harder if youre busty because there’s always this one shirt that would fit perfectly if it weren’t for your tits.
sunflower / 392 posts
@Rachies_Icons@xanga - HAHAHAHA. if it weren’t for those tits! i like that!
guest
ughhh . i have both lol . they are both have their positives and negatives though .
rose / 960 posts
i kind of feel like the busty girls have it worse off; some styles, like the oversized sweater that was recently blogged about, just aren’t flattering to busty girls. for the sweaters, if you have an ass, it’s hot but if you have boobs, you just end up looking bigger than you are.
i’m an A so maybe if you give me half your boobage, we’ll both be good
and those cupcakes are awesome.
guest
i have & love both.
busty sucks though, cuz you gotta get bigger shirts just to cover your babies up, and it ends up making your stomach area look really really loose. D: having pants sit nicely around your ass isn’t too bad.
sunflower / 392 posts
@xGirLxWiThxAtTiTuDex@xanga - hahaha really? it sits on your ass? i def have to tell my friend that. she finds it harder for her. maybe that is why she likes dresses.
sunflower / 447 posts
Ugh I hate having a huge bust. It is such a pain, especially down here in FL cuz no matter what my tank tops look too tight
guest
@mTs - ugh absolutely hate dresses! i have a bubble-butt, but under a dress my ass just looks wide. you know how back in the day, women used to wear those weird dress-shaping things on their ass to make it look like they had donk? yeah, it looks like that for me, except no corsage/whatever needed. the thing with my pants is that it usually “sits” (fits? lawl) nicely around my ass, but then it’s just looser thigh-down.
sunflower / 392 posts
@xGirLxWiThxAtTiTuDex@xanga - you mean those jeans that lift and separate? wait those are for chicks with no butt. hmm not too sure about that butt shaping thing. so does that mean you spend extra money on those jeans that do fit you or just make it work??
guest
I’m an hourglass so I have both problems.
guest
@mTs - no. i mean regular jeans. my bum’s so big that i have to go up a couple sizes just to accommodate my ass, and subsequently, everything else is loose. no extra money, honey–i make it workkk.
sunflower / 392 posts
@xGirLxWiThxAtTiTuDex@xanga - hahaha glad to hear! yeah but i def hating going another size up from what i am. but my other friend who happens to be the sister of the girl with the big donk. well the sister has big boobs and she is tiny. no booty though but she goes up a large to make long tops look like dresses on her! which is so funny but it works since her boobs are huge and she is short enough to make the top look like a dress. where as i’m tall enough to where a certain dress is a mini on me. boo hoooo!
guest
i WISH i had bigger boobs. ive been like a 34a [and all my guy friends keep on giving me shit about it] and then i have like this huge ass and really niiice legs i must add. but yeah i understand how that would be annoying, plus women with bigger boobs seem to get more crap about looking “slutty” when they wear vnecks and stuff. Personally, i think they’re both a pain.
guest
Busty, because it’s more of a medical issue that being bootylicious. Women who are more top-heavy are more likely to suffer from heart disease.
daisy / 636 posts
I have no boobs and a huuge ass. I wear a completely different size on the bottom than I do on the top. Shopping is difficult at times, but seriously, it is for anyone who cares about how they look. & I think people with huge tits look fatter, even if they’re not.
guest
@mTs - wait i just read your last comment. pants that lift…and separate? separate what? HAHA
sunflower / 392 posts
@xGirLxWiThxAtTiTuDex@xanga - yo ass! hahaha they even made some for guys.
guest
love those cupcakes
magnolia / 1296 posts
big boobs. they cause back pain. and they sag more in later age.
not that i would know about the back pain, but its what i’ve heard from some people.
guest
bootylicious girls have it worse.
i have a big ass and finding a decent pair of pants that fits my butt but doesn’t have a huge waist or is super long or what have you– is damn rare. i usually end up wearing the same 2 pair of pants because nothing else fits me properly.
magnolia / 1354 posts
I couldn’t really tell you…I’ve never had any of those problems really. My chest is tiny and so is my booty. I just have trouble finding stores that carry small sizes.
guest
I usually have problems with jeans… heck.. I just wear skirts then
guest
I wish I had a big booty… I have a huge rack… I will be downsizing in a couple years.
guest
I’ve got both and yeah, finding clothes that fit sucks.
And for the thin girls who don’t have va-va-voom curves who wish they did, we’ve all gotta learn to be happy with what we’ve got.Personally, I hate my curves and I wish I had a slender, even boyish shape. All my curves get me are weird fitting clothes and men leering at me on trains.
guest
I have tiny boobs and a practically non existant ass,, and i’m not even skinny! i would love to have boobs and an ass because i think no matter what shape you are it can be hard finding clothes to wear, i can’t wear low cut tops because they just look dumb on me and heaps of tops in my size look too big around my boobs.
guest
@mTs - hmm maybe there needs to be a title change. i agree with ya tho, rail thin is not the way to be
guest
I’m both. I can’t wear button up shirts because my boobs will burst out, but a size up is too large on the rest of me. Most shirts don’t fit for that matter. I always have to end up getting too large shirts just so my boobs won’t stretch the material. Pants are the same way. I could never wear a short tight skirt that a girl with a smaller butt could wear because my butt would raise it up a good 3 or 4 inches. It sucks being completely unproportional. So, if you have just one problem, be thankful.
guest
what about those of us with neither? life isn’t great when you look
like a 12 year old boy, either. how about we all just deal and learn to
rock what we’ve got?
guest
I dunno I lack both.
I would like to have both… if not both just the boobs… or decent boobs n a big butt. xDD
but I never thought of it that way. that girls w/ big boobs or a big butt would have trouble finding clothes.
guest
@sHaKeSpEaReH8ter@xanga - I agree with you on this.
But I’d say its worse to not have a bootie..
guest
@xXHiyonoXx@xanga - lol thanks
well i guess that’s me, i have a little one
but i was more blessed up top
*sigh*
but like i said before,
i’ll take what i can get
<3
guest
It’s harder for me to buy jeans because I always have to buy it a size bigger because it doesn’t fit my butt :// However the next problem is having to buy a belt because the waist of the jeans isn’t being held up by my waist since my butt is in the way.
well I guess it depends..would you want guys to check you out from the front where you can notice it and be disgusted
or would you want guys to check you out from behind and you wouldn’t have a clue?
hydrangea / 72 posts
wtf? girls who don’t have either have it worse. I’m very slim, i have to wear a belt with size 2 jeans to stop them from falling down (size 0s are too tight ironically… and when i was shopping for dresses… just forget it, the world assumes everyone has boobs.
cherry blossom / 43 posts
I’m feeling you on this one!! I always end up having to get dresses a size up because my usual size makes me boobs hang out or something equally as vulgar!! lol
guest
DEFINITELY the butt. I have a huge-ass butt (lol) thanks to my family, but I’m petite and short, so I literally can never find jeans. ever. I’ve given up looking. I found ONE pair at Kohl’s of Lee pants with an elastic-reinforced waistband, and they work, but they LOOK like mom jeans- and I’m 16.
rose / 770 posts
What if you have both like myself? It fucking sucks.
guest
well with bootylicious people, when they wear skirts, it rises up in the back because of a surplus of donkage.
guest
You forgot to mention that girls who have neither have problems, too. I’m a 32A and I bought a swimsuit from Victoria’s Secret. Even thought it was an xsmall, it was obviously made for someone with a much bigger rack than mine! I can’t wear it without risk of wardrobe malfunction. Same with their tops. Definitely made for someone who would “fill them out” a little better that I do. Which is a shame because VS has some cute clothes. At least I have a nice butt, though.
To answer the original question, I think both have problems, just in different areas. Actually, everyone, no matter what shape, has problems finding clothes that fit just right.
guest
i’d rather be bootylicious than busty, but neither are bad!
those cupcakes are great

Busty- Back aches, inabilitity to find shirts or bras, inability to play sports.
sunflower / 312 posts
@Kate - This is a different post entirely. But I understand your frustration.
guest
Bootylicious definitely. They never make pants to fit around someone’s butt that’s just a little rounder and sticking out. It’s like they only cater to women who have normal or none/flat butts. On women of a certain race/DNA, what I see in the gym locker room, their butts seem almost concave!
guest
@xmariia@xanga - I hear you. Jeans are the worst. They should come up with a special size for us women with bigger butts and small waists. The waist part is always loose on my backside.
guest
love the cupcakes hahahah
I would say both equally
guest
bootylicious’ definitely have it worse….i know…9____9

@kamenzzx@xanga - I’m an hourglass too and it’s sooo annoying! >.<

Oh yay! Your post made it to lovelyish!

I have a bit of both, but i think both are equal in thier drawbacks
guest
Yeah, I do have both of those problems. Before I had kids, I only had the butt problem, and that comes from my family’s genetics. LOL. Now I also have the boob problem…. damn, I miss my size medium shirts. :)
guest
I don’t know, i’m just skinny. I do have a problem with not filling out my top though. But I guess i wouldn’t want too much of either.
magnolia / 1369 posts
it depends. i have both problems. i have a 36D &+ the only jeans i wear is applebottoms.
boobs are like a great accessory. sure, sometimes shirts don’t fit correctly but there are also those amazing tops that you NEED boobs to fill them out. &+ having a nice ass is just like the cherry on top.
guest
I am an hourglass but I think that the booty is def more of a problem. Boobs will look good in just about anything, you can squeeze boobs into something and still be hot. However, if you can’t squeeze your ass into a pair of jeans you’re screwed. And if you do squeeze into something you don’t feel right all day long. Your ass will be hanging out or you will get the dreaded muffin top.
guest
@snapeful@xanga - hahah, I was thinking the same thing
I kind of have both problems, but they balance each other out more so now than they used to.
I’m a full 34D (bust measurement is about 39″) and my butt is about 39 1/2″ around. My waist is only 28″ though. O_o (almost a “perfect hourglass”)
I used to hate the fact that I had, what was in my opinion, a “huge” butt. Now I don’t mind it too much, but I do have to make sure that I wear fitted tops and bottoms to avoid looking like I weigh more than I actually do.
Because of my butt, it is difficult to find a miniskirt that fits. As far as shirts go, I usually just wear a cami underneath for modesty’s sake. For dresses, I sometimes sew fabric to cover my cleavage if I am too exposed up top.
If I had to choose between being busty or bootylicious I think I’d go with busty.
daffodil / 1579 posts
I don’t think anything is wrong with either.
guest
I’m more bustier than bootylicious. I hate it when I find a cute top or a dress, but it doesn’t fit my top part. D:
sunflower / 392 posts
@HippocreneQueen@xanga - DONKAGE! love it! hahaha
guest
who has it worse? i think that’s a wrong term to put it.
i dont think that either of those are bad.
guest
Busty girls definitely have it worse. There are at least options for women with large butts. But busty women have to pay $30+ for EVERY bra (at least, if they’re small-framed and not just fat).
And, sagging during aging……. so gross.
guest
@calisartangel16@xanga - You and I obviously have very different definitions of “busty.”
“Busty” is DD+, not a freaking C-cup.
daisy / 571 posts
I love my bust <3
haha, the only problem i have is finding a shirt to fit my bust AND my waist.
Normally they fit my hips and bust pefectly, and then i have a tiny waist, and that’s kind of a problem sometimes ; hrmphh.
I think BOTH busty, and “bootylicious” women have problems finding clothes.
guest
mine’s are A, so i dun have to worry~
=[
guest
are we examining the little specks of dust on our diamonds now?
boohoo. I completely feel for you.
guest
I have pancake butt and really straight hips so I have a really hard time finding jeans, too. As far as who looks better, I don’t think either one of you is worse, you’re both totally blessed! I think it is harder to find bottoms that fit when you’re an odd shape, though.
guest
Both. But girls with extremely big breasts are even worse for me.
guest
I like being ‘busty!’
guest
hm wish i had EITHER, lmfao. but kim kardashian deff has an amazing body.
rose / 785 posts
i’d say it’s the worst for fat girls with neither butts nor boobs. nothing fits when you’re not person-shaped.
guest
It’s harder to be busty, because tops never fit correctly. Ever. I know. -.-
However, it’s also difficult to have a big booty if your waist is small, because pants never fit right, or they make them for “tall” people.
That bothers me more than anything. Pants ALWAYS seem to assume that if you’re heavy, you’re tall. Whereas tall, skinny, people… can never find long enough pants. XD
