i don’t wear shorts, other than when i work out. i don’t have the legs for them. there is a right and wrong way to wear them, as well as a right and wrong set of legs. (no offense to anyone here, but if your thighs are riddled with cellulite and spider veins, just don’t.)

but…. 30 isn’t that old ;____; i mean if you have kids it’s understandable…. or if you dont look 30 (like a lot of asians don’t). i would say over 40 is pretty old. but they’re just not professional in the first place yanno? if you had a career you wouldn’t be doing so.

I can agree with this, and if you’re going to wear really short shorts at least cover the cleavage and midriff zones, everything in moderation. 

Age in fashion is overrated. If you can pull it off TASTEFULLY, I say wear it! Look it’s 2009, women are sexier than ever after 30, so why dress dowdy? It’s not the 1950s anymore.

i think it depends on age and obviously the shape of the persons body. cut off denim can come off trashy but if you pair it with something like a cute classy top that covers you up than i think it can be a cute look that works.

I have one pair of denim jean shorts, but they aren’t cut off shorts.    I agree with you to a degree.  I think that women over 30 can tastefully do short shorts (even denim ones).  If your butt is hanging out, that looks tasteless on anyone.  I wouldn’t wear cut off jeans outside of the house, but that is just me.

I wear denim shorts almost every day.

I have a pair of white denim shorts (they aren’t frayed cause I HATE that look lol) I don’t know if I would ever wear blue denim shorts…they’d have to be the right cut and right tone…

i wear abercrombie denim shorts…love them. yes, they’re short; no, you can’t see my ass in them.

i have a couple of jean shorts. and they were cut from jeans =)

Just make sure your cheeks are covered.  I think that’s a good rule for just about anyone in shorts.  I don’t care how good you look, unless it’s for some photo shot I think it’s best we don’t see all you have to offer.

I like denim shorts. I usually wear them during the warmer season. However, personally i don’t like them with tights.

I have some denim capris i live in all summer, but they are just below my knee because the only person who wants to see my legs is Mr Sun (i’m whiter than sour cream all seasons) and my boyfriend and they both can see them in the back yard when I’m mowing the lawn haha

I think there is a tasteful way to wear anything. And alot of women who are 30 are absolutly gorgeous!! And if you have the legs, I think you should show them off while you have them. But ass hanging out and tummy showing looks trashy no matter how old you are.

That last guy however, was HAWT. mm mmm mm I wanna slap some cheese on that, put it between a bun, grill some onions as a topping, throw it in the oven, and eat him up!! I think I just creamed, oops. LOL

I prefer longer shorts… they’re more comfortable.
I wear shorts during the summer, but I might wear them during autumn/winter 09.

I love them, but I don’t have nice legs so I don’t wear it often.

I’m not a fan of super short shorts (i.e. the ones half your butt hangs out of), but I agree with Erika_Steele that it can be done tastefully. If I continue with my current pattern–23 but mistaken for 18–I’ll definitely still be wearing my above mid-thigh shorts.

I don’t wear shorts, my legs bruise easily and I always tend to have bruises on my legs. I use to, though. That guy has junk in his trunk.
