Anna Sui always has a bit of that hippie, boho luxe thing going on. Mixing patterns, textures, deep saturated colors, and those tiny little details that look like they were plucked from the world over.
These are some of my favorites from the Fall 2009 RTW collection.
The collection is a mix of Victorian (note the puffy sleeved tops and the little bow and brooches?), flapper inspired headwear, disco 70s (note the metallic tights), and a little bit of Western (the boots, the bags!) I wonder if Anna Sui throws a bunch of different styles into a velvet bag and draws out different slips of paper and that’s what her collection is composed of. *hehe* I love it though. It’s a happy wonderful mix of styles and elements of fashion throughout the different eras.

its cute to look at, but in real life, i might take the hat, boots and jewelry and just pair them with a normal outfit. the dresses are ok if you wear the alone to a fancy party, but paired with all the rest of the accessories its all a bit too much together

Not a huge fan of the hippie, boho look but some of it is really cute. I would mix these pieces in with other staple wardrobe items.

I like the first dress. I wouldn’t wear it b/c I am an F cup. It would look tacky on me. I also like the jacket in the second picture. The rest I don’t really like at all.

It’s all so eye-catching and colourful! I might wear some of the clothes, but I’d mix and match them to tone them down to everyday type outfits.

I always like bohemian, and I also go for muted sophistication.
