I don’t think I am ever going to understand why people buy clothes that say stuff like ‘PINK’ and ‘American Eagle’ or even those Juicy pants with the logo. I absolutely hate it. I just think it looks insanely tacky. I don’t want people 50 feet away from me knowing where I shop.
Could somebody please explain to me the novelty of these logos on clothes?
It just annoys me when I’m shopping and honestly, I dread shopping at stores who carry lots of clothes with logos even if I like a few things they carry. I would rather have a plain hoodie with a really good cut and cute embellishments, maybe even a logo on the zipper or something like that, than wear a hoodie that says ‘AE’ or ‘PINK’ printed in huge letters on the front and the back. I know these aren’t the only stores that do this, but they’re the ones I remember that do this the most.
I really doubt that I just have some strange elegant style but I absolutely FORBID these giant logos from my closet. Why am I going to pay $50 for a shirt that practically screams HEY I’m tacky and I want the whole world to know!!!
Do you wear logo clothing? If so, from what stores, and if not, why not?

orchid / 118 posts
I like ‘em. But i mean, some logos are REALLLY tacky, and some are pretty cool, like with little embellishments and things all around. I guess some people do it to show off where they bought their clothes.. I know a girl who wears her tacky Armani top just to show everyone she’s rich enough to buy Armani. Or D&G. But i guess sometimes it can be cool. And remeber that these arent the only types of Logos out there. They could have like, pictures and cheeky slogans, and thats still a logo tee (now known as graphic tee). I beg to differ by saying THOSE are dead cute.
guest
I never wear logo clothing. I even stopped shopping at limited too when I was 10 because they started writing “LTD TOO” all over everything. And as for PINK, my friend has this theory that it’s got some sort of sexual innuendo to it, but I think she’s overthinking it.
Either way, it’s tacky and some kind of status symbol.
guest
I try and avoid buying such clothes. :/
The exception would have to be on my gym clothes.
guest
I feel the same way. It’s like a walking billboard.

I don’t like them much.

i like logos on my shirts because it just puts the shirt together, at least that’s how I feel. I really love The North face, and they have their logo on everything, literally.
guest
They’re not tacky.
But I tend to buy mine from thrift stores or outlets.
I can’t make myself pay full price for them
guest
i dislike those shirts as well. why would i want to walk around with ‘hollister’ or ‘abercrombie’ written on me? i’ll buy some of their clothes on occasion but never those dumb shirts. they’re always overpriced too
daisy / 734 posts
hollister’s a lot worse than american eagle. I can actually find a lot of cute stuff at american eagle, where hollister i can hardly find anything. i’m not really a fan of logos though- it’s a form of advertising and a psychological trick used on teens who want to fit in- wear the right brands, you’re cool. eventually most people grow out of it.
guest
i love bebe logo tees. those infamous white tees with the bebe logo on the front chest, yeah my favorite.
guest
Does Roxy count? If then, I’m guilty. I don’t wear Hollister, American Eagle, or stuff that says PINK on it hahaha…
guest
NIKE ;D

i only like small logos that are not in your face, written across the shirt.
hydrangea / 50 posts
i don’t, for the most part. i wear graphic designs but rarely logos.
guest
ok on a real note its about status like I drive a black and silver 30th anniversary camaro a truly beautiful car rides like a box of rocks BUT IT LOOKS SO GOOD I could sell it and buy a Idk something that rides good and is better on gas.. and plain blah clothes are not much different “LOOK WHERE I SHOP” “I DON’T BUY THE WAL MART BRANDS ” “IM BETTER THAN THAT” its hip.. its in its all about status and the clothes companys know it and sell it and most people but into it
guest
@mrjethro@xanga - Same here xD
I don’t really mind wearing clothes with logos printed on them… actually, I don’t even care. If it’s cute and comfortable, I have no problem wearing it.
dahlia / 2942 posts
I don’t mind them, as long as the logo isn’t stylized in an ugly way.
guest
I like some of my clothes with logos as long as it doesn’t scream preppy. The clothes I buy with logos are usually cute, and a trusted brand name that I like.
guest
I have a lot of Ralph Lauren polos and sweatshirts that have the logo on them. Plain polos look weird to me because that’s what they are…plain. With logos, you’re given an extra color to coordinate with your outfit.
I am guilty of having some Hollister and one Abercrombie shirt that practically screams the store name across the front, but I didn’t buy it for the name. I bought it because their shirts fit me really well and are flattering on me. Who cares if you’re “selling” the store? If someone that’s simliar to my size/body shape sees that I look good in Hollister shirts and realize that they would look good in them too and decide to buy it, then good for them. It doesn’t matter.
guest
@soniiuh@xanga - If it’s cute and comfortable, I have no problem wearing it……… ha If it’s cute and comfortable, I have no problem dating it.

@mrjethro@xanga - ROFL. Hahahahaha… that was funny LOL.

as long as the logo isn’t ugly, i’ll wear it.

I just think logos on the back of the pants are tacky.
Some logo shirts from Aeropostle are cute.
sunflower / 484 posts
The only brand I would ever wear was JIMMY’Z. There were only 11 stores in the US. Sadly, they were owned by Aeropostal. Now all those shirts with the wings on the backs say Aero, and I will NEVER wear one again. At least in the Jimmy’z clothes, you had to search for the logo. Half the stuff I bought it took me a few times of wearing the shirt to find the little signature piece. It was like a game of wheres Waldo.
I miss Jimmy’z. A lot.
orchid / 149 posts
I wear some logo clothes around my house because I got them for free or as a gift. Otherwise, I’m not much into those kinds of status symbols. Big huge letters across clothing advertising where you shop is just too tacky for me.
daffodil / 1601 posts
I’m the same way. To me it’s a younger look and I’m going for older. I’d much rather wear detailed blouses and printed tops.
guest
i just think that huge logos on clothes lack style..i mean, they could’ve put an artistic pattern or made an interesting cut to the shirt but instead, just plastered a logo on it.
daffodil / 1540 posts
the only logo things i own are my PINK sweats and hoodie, but i don’t really even wear them out of the house. i don’t like clothes that scream the name of the store i bought them from all over them.
guest
i used to absolutely be 100% against shopping in american eagle, holister, or abercrombie. i recently have taken a liking to the cheaper finds i can find in american eagle. but i WILL not buy something with a huge logo on it that says AE or A. EAGLE or something of that sort. i wont. not only b/c i just dont like my clothes to have writing on them, i like prints. but i know for sure i will never shop at holister or fitch. 1) way to expensive for anything in there. way over priced for just and name 2) holister store scares the shit out of me. i will not go inside. its dark and creepy and no.
daisy / 570 posts
not all of them are tacky
personally, i LOVE american eagle…. and i hardly see a big AE logo on them
just a small eagle here and there or maybe the words AE printed subtly in their vnecks or yeah… i can go on and on (i own like a thousand sweaters, tees and jeans from them)
but well, it seems that if people want to spend $50 on a shirt, they would want people to know that they spent that much in that store.
it’s just that sometimes they pay more for the logo than the item itself.
but in the end, i would perfer to have a logo of some sort on my clothes so it won’t look too plain.
unless the design itself is complex
guest
Not all logos are tacky; sometimes the designer gets really creative and the logo actually looks really good on the shirt. I wouldn’t get one like the tank in the picture, but I used to get the really creative logo shirts when I was younger. Aeropostale had really cute ones =P.
guest
I agree completely. It’s just so generic, and boring. No mystery in where they get their clothes from that’s for sure.
cherry blossom / 37 posts
I AGREE! I find the clothing to be stupid. Why pay about 25 bucks just for a shirt that says hollister or american eagle? The only shirt’s I have with logos on them ACTUALLY look nice and fit. Like A cursive font saying Volcom with a diamond on the end. And my Killbrand shirt with a nice font on it, It LOOKS nice. Some shirts, the mainstream stores carry don’t.
orchid / 182 posts
I stay away from logos. I dont like ppl reading my butt or my chest.
guest
I agree. Maybe not tacky, but just obnoxious. I don’t get the point. I don’t shop at a store to advertise for them. I shop to purchase things I like.
guest
Agreed 100%
guest
This is exactly why I constantly trash Abercrombie’s clothing. It’s completely un-original and un-flattering with the logo’s printed on everything. I absolutely hate the shorts and pants with things printed across the butt as well, to be honest sometimes I think that even looks a bit slutty.
guest
i don’t think small logos are tacky, such as the a&f moose or lacoste alligator. i wear them all the time. however i will not be caught DEAD in a shirt that says “pink”, “hollister”, “ae”, or whatever logo across the front. tackyyyy.
dahlia / 2747 posts
i don’t mind them, but honestly its so people can show off…
guest
the only thing i usually advertise are my favorite bands..not big on buying brand name clothes like that. seems like a wastes at times.
guest
G-d I love logos. I dream of having my own logo, and wish I had money for logo tees.
guest
i’m not a big fan of logos either. the way i see it, why should i pay to advertise?
sunflower / 420 posts
WOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOO!
FINALLY somebody who thinks like me! Here I thought I was only person in the universe that didn’t see the appeal of having “PINK” written across my ass cheeks.
guest
YES to this post. I have never worn logo-emblazed clothing. The closest I’ve ever come are polos with the brand embellishment embroidered in the corner, but that’s unavoidable. And uni clothing, but I willlingly pay extra to support the school.
Logo-ised clothing scream “I’m tacky, I’m gullible, I’m style-less, I’m buying into the notion that price equals quality!” I realise that this description doesn’t apply to everyone who wears clothing like that, but a good percentage of the tween-brand-baring consumers fall somewhere in there.
Weirdly enough, clothes from (‘kay, dragging the names out) AF/AE/Hollister are more expensive, but they’re not any better in quality than the unembellished clothes you could pick up from a local Goodwill. Even then, you’d only need a bit of screenprinting machinery and maybe a needle/thread/applique, and you’d have a mean imitation. All those eager shoppers are paying extra for is the logo.
If I’m going to advertise your brand, I’d like to be the one getting paid for it.
guest
BEST POST EVER ON LOVELYISH. THANK GOD SOMEONE HAS COME TO THEIR SENSES!
guest
American Eagle has actually decent clothes w/o logos for women.
However, men have no choice if they shop at AE. They are the walking billboards..
I actually bought a cute top from AE & it didn’t even have the little eagle on the corner of it as it usually does. Surprised me! Ahaha
guest
I used to buy shirts with a giant Hollister or Abercrombie & Fitch across my chest…LOL but I’ve moved on. I don’t mind a small eagle/moose/AX/polo horse in the corner somewhere… but not across my chest or down my shirt anymore.
cherry blossom / 40 posts
Yeah, I don’t like them either really. I think some of them may look nice. But then, people are walking logo’s, just wearing them. Ouch. There, I said it.
guest
i wear clothes with logos on, just so i can show off and be like “yeaah! i shop here!!” or if i really like the design and color of it.
guest
I am not a company’s live walking advertisement.
guest
if I’m getting paid to sport someone’s logo.
The only logo’d things I wear are from my alma mater college. And those are like hoodies.
guest
i do have clothes with logos on them but i dont usually wear them out. its just like hoodies or sweats to relax around the house… other then that i feel the same way as you i dont like people to know where i shop and for that reason i wear a lot of cardigans lol.
guest
@NO_iTz_ANGI3@xanga - when they dont have the little eagle on it you should be able to get it discounted because its technically a defect, just so you know next time lol you can pay less for it. ( i used to work retail that sold the “defects” from AE and Pink.) nothings wrong with them but their missing the logo.
guest
You pay $50 for a shirt with a logo exactly because you’re paying $50. When you think about how cheap it is to make clothes, the markup at these stores is what you pay in order to show off the fact that you can afford this brand. Otherwise, why pay that much when you can get the exact same thing at Walmart?
guest
i like somethings by PINK (w w/o logo), and i LOOOOOOOOVEEEEEE famous stars and stripes (the logo) i have it as a keychain that i stole from the shoe store i work for
i take no shame in that whatsoeverr! i definitely wouldnt wear anything that said abercrombie or anything, thats just not my style! plus i would never buy something from there. wayyy too expensive! you know what i realy dont like though? ok obviously not but i think ill tell you. coach. the logo is just way too overwhelming. and everywhere. and its a print. and its crazy. ew.
guest
Sometimes I do if I really like the color or the style and placement of the logo. I prefer to not have logos on my clothes and so far I think only 2 of my shirts have a logo on them (not counting stuff from college)
guest
I don’t know…some are tacky (okay a good bit are) & normally I go to places that don’t have clothes that are logo’d but I do have a few execptions in my closest. My old high school shirts, pants, shorts, hoodies, cheer bag ect. are all logo’d with my schools name and my college shirts, pants, shorts, hoodies, cheer bag ect. also are. But it’s not just that I also have a Juicy Couture shirt that has a big J on the front for my lazy days, I just think it depends on the style that it’s done in if it’s tacky or not. Like how some stores have something small but you know what brand it is like nike. But for the most part I avoid aero, vs, ae, and all that stuff.
guest
I know a guy who’s really cute and can pull off hollister/ae/abercrombie shirts.
.. But that’s it.

I never saw the point, but I’m sure if I had a logo of a brand I reallyyyy liked then I would, usually i just think its tacky
guest
Whoever thought of it was brilliant. We pay THEM to do THEIR advertising. And if we’re dumb enough to go for it, kudos to them.
guest
I don’t like the style of large logos. It’s hard to look clean cut with a giant logo on a shirt.
guest
I don’t care. Don’t worry about little things like THAT. ==’ If it looks good, I’ll buy.
But I don’t like the PINK! shirts. ‘Cause I hate that color.
guest
I don’t have any clothes with huge logo prints on them. They usually make you seem younger. I already look young enough. >.<
guest
I’m exactly the same way about that stuff. I won’t wear anything with “Roxy” or “Hurley” or “Billabong” plastered all over it. [I would never wear anything from Victoria's Secret on the outside, nor would I ever set foot in a American Eagle or Hollister store, 'less I die.]
Everyone thinks I’m crazy, but if it even says it in tiny print on the bottom of the shirt, or has some random animal on it as a logo, I refuse to wear it, no matter how much I like it. It throws everything off for me. It’s hard for me to shop also, just to find something that doesn’t have some stupid logo on it. Thank goodness it isn’t just me!

I agree! I don’t like logo’s either. Very rarely will I buy clothes with the logo printed in ugly bold letters across the front. I may buy it if it’s on the bottom-side or the t-shirt and maybe the back. But that’s only if the shirt is exceptional.
I do have shirts with logo’s but I rarely wear them. I’m finding more and more, I don’t like how they look anymore.
guest
I’m with you on that. I can’t freaking stand logo shirts. I think it’s stupid. I’d prefer a t-shirt with something funny, or just plain. I don’t like to advertise for clothes companies, they aren’t paying me so why should I?
Little logos that you have to get really close to see are OK mostly, or names of bands that I’ve seen in concert (and those ones only, I won’t wear a t-shirt of a band I’ve never seen live… ICP being the one exception, because I’ll never be able to see them).
I think I own one shirt with a big logo on it, and the colors they used are so similar you can’t read it. Ha ha. I can’t even remember what company it was.
daffodil / 1579 posts
LOVE PINK
guest
i personally like logos if they arent extremely bold but if they are extremely out there, then i prefer not 2 get the shirt , etc. but the logos are just made 2 show the brand of the shirt and shitt but still, the logos need 2 be smaller.
guest
Ha, my boyfriend was talking about this. He was saying not only is it stupid-flashy, but you’re basically giving those companies money to advertise their store on your body. Which is so true! I’ll admit I’m guilty of buying logo stuff >_<, but it was so middle school! Everyone just wanted to fit in and be cool. Now I’m against it. But I don’t mind the company symbol-logo thing, like say the moose for abercrombie. Having just that on the clothing is much classier, and subtle then ABERCROMBIE AND FITCH. lol.
orchid / 124 posts
I hate worded logos with the big huge letters across them
if its a little symbol on the breast or something.. like tommy hilfiger, then whatever, you cant really avoid those since they are on almost all clothes these days. But I actually dont think I own anything with a logo, even a little simple one like tommy’s clothes. (I think its because almost none of my clothes have been bought in america) However, logos can be anything. Even band tshirts have “logos” on them.
guest
No, i don’t like clothes that have logos……sometimes i feel like i’m buying the logo or brand rather than the clothes………is just not me. I do love some t-shirts that have some awesome graphics.
guest
some look alright, but some just look plain out ugly. i don’t really like logos.
guest
I suppose first one must note the difference between the logo (I bought it from this place or designer) and a graphic (whether picture or text, irrelevant to the manufacturer). I like graphics and fun text, but I don’t understand the point of buying a shirt advertising the store or line you bought it from.
daisy / 728 posts
it all depends for me
guest
i think theyre alright, as long as it looks good
guest
I think the small logos like the ones typically on a polo are okay. But anything exceeding about 3 X 3 inches is tacky, as you stated. I’m surprised you never mentioned the shirts that are INSANELY popular for no apparent reason, the ones form A&F and Hollister (same company, really) Where the front is going vertically instead of across the chest and it just says “FITC” or “ABERCRO” and then it cuts off. Those just made me angry. Like they made them on Microsoft word or something. Comepletly uncreative and unimaginative- taking from fashion at its core.
I don’t like any of the brands you mentioned, interestingly enough. The brands that usually produce things like that are ones I tend to usually not find worth buying.
Not that I’m “too good” or something to buy PINK or A&F, its just usually every time I walk in those stores I walk about disappointed. Although A&F does have some fun tunes going on in their store
guest
I absolutely refuse to wear anything that says the store’s name anywhere on it for people to see, or anything like that. The eagle on AE stuff doesn’t bother me because it’s a tiny little embroidery, or the moose from Abercrombie. but anything that says the store’s name, no way; I’m not a fucking walking advertisement.
Plus, my style has gotten pretty good over the past few years, & I don’t need people buying the things I buy. Pssh.
guest
Because they are thought of as status symobls. It’s a merger of vanity and stupidity where the consumer has become willing to over-pay and then advertise for free.
guest
I hate logos. I’d rather have a WITTY saying on my shirt than a brand name. Ugh.
guest
Oh, and… the Victoria’s Secret shorts with “PINK” splashed across the butt. Those are the worst. -.-;; I see girls with those and I seriously want to projectile vomit all over those 30 dollar shorts that cover about as much as my underwear does for me when I wear boyshorts. Ugh.
guest
ok it really depends like i own a few AE polo with that eagle on the side but that’s about it.
guest
I only buy those if they have other graphics on them that make them look cooler. Other than that, it’s no big deal.
guest
i actually like logo on clothing but probably only if its like a brand name or something. its cute and i dont mind telling people the kind of clothes i like to wear.
guest
I forbid gigantic logos from my closet, too! I don’t understand what the novelty is really. I think it follows the concept of namedropping. The more people wear them, the more other people will be exposed and might want to buy their clothes? It’s pretty lame. I’d rather wear something that says something witty or funny than just a plain logo. Where’s the creativity?
guest
usually i don’t like to buy clothes with logos on them. it just depends on the store
rose / 770 posts
No. It’s hideous. You’re just a walking advertisement for their company.

me too. i tried to advoide those like holli, ae, aero.

you’re stupid enough to ask, and you seem to know the answer to your own questions.

Abracombi, Hollister and Aeropostel re b far the worst. The clothes are tacky and to expensive for nothig. I hear girls saying to there moms and friends “Look ______ ! These short shorts are on sale for $50!” I just wanna shoot the person. And when it comes down to the logos on their shirts (!) They all look the same. The shirt in a difrent colr1 Its annoying and i hate it. I LOVE A&E but not when it screams the logo. I just REALY REALLY HATE Abracombi, Hollister and Aeropostel!!!!!!!!!!!
guest
I wear a lot of Aéropostale shirts, and they have logos on them. Other than that, I don’t wear clothes from any other other store that puts their logo on their clothes.
@Lovleyluck I hate Abercrombie because of how unnecessarily expensive their clothes are, but I don’t think Aéropostale is that bad. I bought 2 polos shirts the other day there for a total of $5.99. American Eagle is a lot more expensive than Aero.
guest
I don’t buy clothing like that. Just as you said that you didn’t want everyone knowing where you shop, the point of these types of clothes is to do just that. I have a few logo shirts that I got as hand-me-downs, and I usually wear them in a way to hide the logo. Almost all of my clothes are solid colors or simple prints.
guest
they are uncreative, in my opinion. overly priced, too.

nope, i try to avoid those branded clothes, with the exception of the picture logos (like aerie), cuz those are plain enough for me. i don’t want to walk around like another abercrombie and fitch clone >:[

No, I don’t wear logos for many of the same reasons, with a few exceptions.
1) Favorite bands.
2) TV show characters
3) Places I’ve been/ my family/boyfriend’s been
4) School clubs
5) I occasionally wear a t-shirt that reads “Everybody loves a Torrid Girl”.
guest
I usually don’t buy clothes with logos. Tho they can look nice, cute…
I just don’t like when people know where I buy It.
And I think it’s okay to buy clothes with logos as long as u don’t turn too snobby.
guest
There’s probably a lot of reasons why the brands names are advertised on their shirts, etc. I mean, the main reason is right there: to advertise their store. When a lot of people are wearing something from a certain place, it probably triggers in most of us that lots of people shop there…so it must a pretty nice place to shop at. Or at least sparks interest for some. Almost every shop has some kind of item that has their name on it (it’s just that Hollister, Abercrombie, etc. has it on practically everything they make).
It could also be saying that you want to tell everyone you shop there, and you love their stuff, or something….Like showing Store Spirit! ^_^”
It’s not that tacky – not the right word. It’s like saying wearing something with your college/university/school’s name on it is tacky or unflattering….
guest
i’m with you. if i want a big logo on a shirt, its gonna be for a band i like, not some brand. i’m not gonna pay money just to advertise for some company i don’t care about at all.
most of my favorite clothes are plain. plain colored t-shirts, plain jeans, plain shoes, plain dress shirts, etc…
Logos are for people who think they need to measure up.
guest
I have some athletic clothes with their logos on it. I see no problem with it.
guest
i think they’re lazy as far as fasion goes. you don’t even have to try to put an outfit together, you just have some stupid logo across your body and call that “matching the rest of your outfit”. it makes you look like all you’re good for is advertising a store and looking stupid at the same time for paying so much for the shirt. plus, some people (high school kids especially) think it makes them better than everyone else because they have some name brand that other kids don’t. i don’t own anything that says hollister or amerian eagle or anything…i actually like to look like i try to look good.
guest
I don’t like logos either! I avoid shopping at “ambercrombie” or “aeropostale” because it’s hard to find a shirt with their freaking name written all over it ;/ .
guest
I avoid them as much as possible. I guess some people do it because they need to validate themselves and show others they shop at “expensive” stores. I really don’t care, so I actually don’t get stuff that has letters all over it.
guest
I hate this as well, when I was in middle school it was a HUGE issue, everything said “GAP” and “old navy” on it, or had those dumb made-up sports teams or restaurants or resorts on them, all of which I find asinine. My mom hated taking me shopping because I was so damn picky. I’ve found lines that avoid this, I shop at places like Soundgirl, Tulle, Modcloth, Urban outfitters, American Apparel, H&M, etc. It costs more, but it’s higher quality, and no stupid brand-name screen printing!
guest
can’t stand logos. why would you advertise for some company like that? it’s not like they’re paying you or anything.
and logo stuff’s usually pretty boring.
guest
Rarely. I do have a lot of “graphic” tees, but I can’t think of any that have a store name written across the chest or whatever. I think they’re ugly and tacky. It was cool in junior high but that was 8-10 years ago for me.
guest
a small logo is fine, but if the entire front of the shirt is dedicated to the store, then no thanks. it just makes me feel like a walking advertisement.
guest
me too! i never never wear logos. I think its stupid for me to give my money to the company and I advertise them for free. It also just looks tacky and unstylish.
guest
i once saw a family of 4 wearing shirts or sweaters where every single one had Aeropostle across the front. i concluded that Aeropostale must be having a sale.
guest
I don’t think they’re tacky at all. I don’t see why it bugs you so much
guest
I didn’t know people actually cared about these things. o.O
guest
Designer clothes’ logos aren’t all that bad.
guest
Most of my logo stuff is smaller and kind of fits in with the design of the shirt. I have some GUESS and Juicy Couture stuff, but it doesn’t like scream the label. That’s usually why I don’t buy my clothes at Victoria’s Secret or Abercrombie, I just don’t get the point of wearing a shirt that JUST says Pink if there is nothing else to it. It’s boring.
guest
Like at Hollister how all their clothes are the same just different color & then it’s all overpriced.
I am now going to pay 60 bucks to advertise their store.
I mean, I’ll wear it if I don’t have to purchase it.
guest
yea i totally agree i hate shirts with logos too like a pink shit that says cute and sassy and the chick turns around and u wish u had a mirror but instead u cover ur mouth and run to the nearest trash can to relieve yourself yea ive been there XD yea i know what people are thinking right now reading this damn this dudes a prick…actually im just being blunt and honest…any who some shirts are kickass like this cookie monster shirt i saw at walmart which i want very badly…or this tiger with some tribal behind it is kickass to look at but other then that i have this shirt with a saying on it that says IM IN SHAPE…round is a shape!! some people laugh their ass off when they read it and others just give me wierd looks….like this one time when my mom was in a psych ward (please dont ask me about it) i walked in a with a bright orange sweat jacket that said psych ward on it with some numbers underneath and some women nearby that saw it got a little pissed off and talked to my mom about it later on that night or after i left im not sure which came first XD shes like ur son should not be wearing that jacket to a psych ward with a bunch of crazy people surrounding him and my mom whom i love with all my heart said thats his sense of humor u either get used to it or ya dont

logos are lame. even with cute embellishments, i stay away from them. you’re pretty much paying the company to advertise their stuff. why would i do that?! plus, i dont really shop at stores that have logo clothing, excluding department stores.

I only wear things with some form of logo on them. I dread that people might think my clothes are cheap so I want them to know I didn’t get it from a cheap store. Whenever I see someone wearing a shirt without any sort of logo, it looks cheap and I assume it’s from Walmart. So. I wear logos.
guest
I couldn’t agree more.

Tacky? lol
The logo is a part of the style, I think. Like, if in the picture above didn’t have pink on it, how boring and plain would that be? There would be no contrast. It wouldn’t be good enough to wear a plain colored top out in public. I guess it’s not for everyone, but you seem to really have something against it… and I don’t see why… I also like some of my clothes plain, but a lot of the time big stores, including American Eagle, have tiny logos to the side or something and just stylish clothing.
But like Mrjethro said, yeah, it’s mostly about status…

augh, I AGREE!! i hate it, so ugly, and not worth a dime

I don’t need to make myself into a giant advertisement THANK YOU VERY MUCH. I am not a billboard. I absolutely refuse to wear anything on which the brand is visible.

i looooooooove them <3 !

i too, am absolutely repulsed by clothing with the brand name written all over it.

I’m with you sister.. Whenever I get hoodies from american eagle (cause they are so comfy) I always get the plain ones. I’ve been trying to find a pair of plain PINK sweatpants.. but I haven’t been able to.
I don’t really judge people on if they DO wear shirts like that though. Like, personally, I wouldn’t wear them, but other people might so.. yeah.
guest
That’s why I shop at H&M. Clothes that look like they come from brand stores without annoying brands on the front.
guest
umm..most of my clothes don’t have this but I guess I do own some that do, I never really thought about it before I just buy whatever I think looks good. I don’t have any shirts that have logos but I do have yoga pants that say something on the side or back, just bought a pair from Victoria’s Secret that say PINK on the back of the waistband..the letters are all sparkly and I think it looks kinda cute
guest
i agree. i do too.who cares where i bought my clothes from? im sure no one does and thats why i dont buy things that spell out HOLLISTER or ABERCROMBIE all across the hoodie. besides, i dont shop there anyway so its all good
guest
yes! i think they are VERY tacky. i like to buy things where the logos can only be found on the zippers or the inside of the bag or sleeves. even the rare things that i buy at more expensive stores, i always check if there logo is somewhere inconspicuous.. or at least small enough.
guest
as long as the logo is cute and not printed like a thousand times on my shirt then i’m good…i mean essentially you’re paying for the name for some brands
guest
I don’t care about wearing them. I rarely wear them though. I like the plain ones better.
guest
totally agree. Plus, we’re not even getting paid to advertise these brands for them. Oh, and what about pants with the booty logo? Ugh. Totally tacky.
guest
i actually think the PINK tank top is cute but that’s about it.
guest
I don’t buy clothes with brand names on them, although I’m fine with a small symbol to represent the brand. I don’t want to label myself by the clothes I wear, and there are so much cuter clothes that you can get than something that just says a brand name on it.
People just do it to label themselves, I think.
guest
i wear logo clothing sometimes but not because of the labels i could careless about that. Im very open to fashion and some might say i have a daring way to wear clothes by mix and matching them, but i absolutely get what your saying it seems like everytime i blink i see people with name brand clothing because teenagers now a days think its cool and in. Im considered a teen but i dont go for that when i dress i think comfortable, stylish and my own look. I cant say everyone would agree with what i wear but idc as long as im comfortable with what im wearing no matter the brand or how much it costs. ill be honest and say i like to bargain and if i can find a $2 name brand cardigan im definitely going for it especially if its an item you buy in the actual outlet store that can rank up to like $30. CHEAP and COMFY is the way to go. lol

some logos are dumb, but for the most part i like them a lot.

I don’t like them either. I feel like a poser wearing them, as weird as that sounds. I don’t really do t-shirts or sweats, I like dresses and tights with leggings. But I don’t find anything wrong with other people wearing them.
orchid / 187 posts
I like them but I dont wear them 24/7. if its cute or appeals to me and has a brand name written all over, i’ll buy it. if it doesnt but i still like it, i’ll buy it. Its just some writing, I dont think its a big deal. Esp bc style is supposed to be personal so of course u should wear what u like.

6 Ways to
Enjoy Your Breasts
Your boobs are wily little
seductresses. They poke proactively out of bikini tops, peek over lacy push-up bras, and flaunt
their fabulousness naked in bed—turning any red-blooded heterosexual male into
a panting pile of mush.
But what most women don’t realize is that their boobs can give
them heaps of satisfaction too. “The majority of research is geared toward
keeping breasts
healthy, and not nearly enough is known about how women
can enjoy their breasts
during sex,” says Debby Herbenick, Ph. D., a sexual-health educator at the
Kinsey
Institute at Indiana University.

sound more like the domain of locker-room jokes and dirty limericks, they do in
fact exist and can get you into all kinds of naughty and interesting
situations.

Want to Learn the Secret Technique to
Seduce Girls?
Allow me to tell you a truth about
guys and what most of us want from women…
Simply put, we want to get laid!
When we start talking to a girl or bring her out on a date, our ultimate goal
is to get her in the sack. While you might want a relationship or simple companionship, your first thought is wondering what sex will be like with her.
That’s why knowing how to seduce girls is an important thing to know.
The one problem you might encounter is how difficult it can be to transition
from a date to “getting it on” with a woman. I don’t have to tell you
that it’s frustrating to want a woman, but have no clue how you can make a move
on her.

Top—and
Bottom—237 Reasons to Have Sex
“I wanted to get rid of a headache.”
“I wanted to be nice.”
“I wanted to feel closer to God.”
“I wanted to change the topic of conversation”
These are some of the reasons researchers found that people engage in sex. Two
clinical psychology professors at the University of Texas conducted a study,
published in the August issue of the Archives of Sexual Behaviour, to find out
people’s top reasons for having sex.
Professors Cindy Meston and David Buss performed their study in two parts.
First they asked 444 people, from age 17 to 52, to give “all the reasons
you can think of why you, or someone you have known, has engaged in sexual
intercourse in the past.” This netted them 715 reasons, which they
narrowed down (after removing duplicate answers) to 237.

I usually don’t like it, it doesn’t look good, but I do always like American Eagle sweatshirts. (I don’t have one though) I don’t own anything “PINK” or “HCO” or “Volcom” None of it.
