I am green with shoe envy. High school student Jane Aldridge runs her own avant-garde fashion blog called Sea of Shoes, and her gorgeous outfits and photos are making my eyes pop out of my head like a cartoon character. Don’t be fooled; Sea of Shoes is not your average teenager-with-a vain-love-of-photographing-herself sort of blog. Sea of Shoes touts fans like Kanye West, and Jane launched a small collection of shoes for Urban Outfitters earlier this summer.

Everywhere she goes (and she lives in suburban Texas, mind you), this girl looks like a high-fashion editorial model. (Maybe it’s the Jil Sander shoes speaking).

She’s got an edgy, Emma Watson sort of look to her, right?

I’m not sure I’d ever wear these shoes, but, on her, this outfit is pretty fierce. Tyra would be pleased.

A vintage cape, J. Crew shirt, Levi’s Jeans, Prada boots. She definitely has money to spend, but you have to give her points for imagination, too.

The Yves Saint Laurent Cage Sandals! I always thought they looked like a work of art on their own that couldn’t possibly look good on, but she totally proves me wrong with this outfit.

This outfit is so romantic and pretty, only made better by the adorable tie-up shoe. I love how she doesn’t limit herself to just having one sort of style, whether that be punky or edgy or girly. She wears what she likes and isn’t afraid to mix it up.

What do you think of Jane and Sea of Shoes? Do you think she makes a good style muse?
