i dont really fancy any metallics.

Not a fan.  I think the green one makes her look awkward.

i personally wouldnt wear it, but if it looks good on you, go for it.

the only metallic i’ll wear are peeptoe flats or ballerina flats.

i wouldn’t wear a metallic dress but i would definitely wear metallic sandals or maybe even a cute metallic bag. :]

I’d only wear it if I still went out to clubs.  Other than that, no.

Ugh this is going to get tacky quicker than those shoes Jennifer is wearing, not to mention her shoulder pads. Sorry, I’m not a fan!

Oh good.  The essence of boring silver car in clothing form.  Just add silver crocs.

Fun fact: Standing out isn’t always a good thing.

metallics hues may flatter skin tones, but they also reflect light.  everywhere.  so no, they’re not really universally flattering, unless you’re trying to seem much larger than you actually are by looking like a shining beacon for all the little non-metallic-wearing moths to flock to. 

additionally, unless it’s an understated metallic (like hayden’s) then the light-reflecting quality also has the tendency to make the body look 2-dimensional at times (like hilary’s), or too busy if too many looks are all fighting for center stage (like jennifer… metallic? paisley? jagged hem? hardcore heels? megatron shoulders?).

i think it could work in doses.  small ones.

i only like Hilary’s. it’s a good shade and isn’t really too shocking and striking like the other two.

the green one… eeeeh.

Hayden’s, i’d have second thoughts if i was on my way out wearing that for a night out.

No wayyy, I feel too flashy and too showy to wear one…plus, I’ve never felt very…adult…in purple sparkles. Hiliary looks great though – Hayden looks nice too but I think the dress looks a little too fitted. Cute idea though!

hilary looks good but the other two are ehhh

They are totally cute. But way too flashy for everydaywear. I mean I get if you want to stand out, but there are ocassions for everything and metallic isn’t casual, unless it’s like a metallic tank paired with jeans and flip flops or something. And I still think not everyone can pull it off lol. I would wear metallic clothing for a party, special event, or the club though. This way it is appropriate for the occassion, but shiny enough to still stand out.

I really like Hilary’s Dress. The purple is super cute.

I love Hayden’s dress.

Not a big fan. I don’t think it makes anyone look conservative… It kind of draws attention to you, instead of being a little more subtle.
