6ish.  I like the idea of it, but the 1950′s style cut on the top half is unflattering and dated-looking (not in a cool vintage-y kind of way), and I’d prefer a different print/color that wouldn’t wash me out.

I first heard of Dita on ANTM, and I too think she is lovely… but something about her in this picture makes her look like a 50′s housewife who needs to pluck her eyebrows.  :-\

I absolutely Adore Dita Van Teese, however I am not a fan of that dress and would probably rate it a four.

It’s a gorgeous dress! I’d give it a 9. It’s not the best color for her skin…so it wouldn’t be for me either, hahaha. It’s definately a pretty dress though.

5.  Pretty generic.  Nothing particularly special about it.  The design is a bit larger than I usually see, but it’s not something I’d consider an attention grabber.

Her dress reminds of that I Love Lucy episode where Lucy and Ethel were in that Friendship Play but they were both pissed because they got the same dress but neither one of them wanted to take it back….?  So they ended up wearing the same dress and ripped it apart on stage…?

The color of the dress doesn’t work with her skin tone, she’s very pale. A darker color would make her look even more beautiful.

5, i love the shape, but i could do without the coloring and floral-ness of it. haha.

as i looked at the first two pictures, i was sort of fifty fifty on liking the dress and finding it completely hideous. but once i had gotten to the last picture, it truly brought out the color more and the flowers are in fact astonishing as is the detailing on the dress. i’m not too fond of the extra flower that is not on the fabric but ontop of her shoulder. i think the dress could have went without having that extra piece because over all the dress is truly amazing. so i’d give this dress a nine. if it weren’t for that lingering flower laying on her skin, the dress would have gotten a perfect ten out of ten. great choice for a “rate this dress” post. =)

rate the girl in the dress 1 – her light complexion plus the light yellowness of the dress makes her look skin look PALE, not “beautiful and light” but PALE. Darker tones would probably give her a “radiant glow” but light + light = pale.

I like it very much.  You have to have the right figure to wear it, though.  I don’t care if it’s retro I think it’s lovely.  An 8.

Sometimes, it’s not the dress itself.
It’s how people play the dress.
By that I mean, how they work it.
I dunno if it’s photo editing, but clearly you see that her complexion compliments the dress.
And her accessories embellish the dress’ features rather than over doing it.

I’m a man, so automatically my opinion will be considered garbage…but w/e. It’s late, I’m bored…so I will state my opinion.

It looks like bad 60′s window dressing. Look at it..the pattern looks like she pulled curtain off someone’s grandparents window. I rate it a 4.
