Hm. $50 I have to get mine done every two and a half months or the layers get all messed up. And I have to get it recolored bi-annually and that takes the price up to about $120.
@RaabzBaby89@xanga - Hmm…after having 6 inches of my hair lopped off and an uneven cut at the cheaper places like SuperCuts, I opted to find a stylist I trust and go there each time. Regardless of the price. A bad style is killer on my confidence. I’ve paid as much as $65 but now I’ve found a place for $45. I no longer dread the salon visit because I love my haircut every time (2-3 months).
@spidergrass@xanga - Yah, I had expectations of everyone paying as much or more than my haircuts.
I recently decided to make this nice, not-ghetto-Asian place my new salon, so I pay $45 now. Helps that the guy is really cute. It’s a bit pricier for me, but I only get my hair cut twice a year so it’s ok.

I really don’t know what my cut is without a color and style, but with the coloring, I pay between $100 to $200+ (depending on which stylist I go to). I have a favorite, but since he is so expensive, I have been looking for someone cheaper (the $100 cut and color). The jury is still out on this one. I have to have a history with the stylist and I like to get a head massage, too. I also want/need the stylist to be gifted enough to know what versions of the styles make my face look younger. This stylist also needs to understand that my hair is straight, straight, straight and very fine…in fact, so fine that it has absolutely no body. It takes talent to take lifeless, clingy hair and cut it in a way that when daily humidity drags every bit of curl away it still looks like a good hair style. Those stylists have more than experience, they have a true gift. I am willing to pay for my hair to look natural and perfect in the face of imperfection.

pay 15 bucks approx for haircut only (about once every 2mths or more). go to my mum’s friend’s salon. sometimes it can go up to more than 100 if i do rebonding
guest
I cut my hair on my own and for the past 5 years I haven’t been to a stylist for trims, cuts, or to get my hair bleached/dyed.
guest
My sister usually cuts it.
guest
Hm. $50
I have to get mine done every two and a half months or the layers get all messed up.

@doLc3@xanga – @MiSS__NARA@xanga - Is it hard cutting the back?

Like…. 25 bucks
!
Wow.. that reminded me I need one soon!

@pineappleyellow@xanga - CUT MINE! hahahaha
guest
$0! cut my own hair.
guest
I recently decided to make this nice, not-ghetto-Asian place my new salon, so I pay $45 now. Helps that the guy is really cute. It’s a bit pricier for me, but I only get my hair cut twice a year so it’s ok.
guest
$45 every 2-3 months. And its a great cut every time, so its worth it.
guest
I get mine done at the hairdresser school. They charge about six bucks a cut and about twenty for a color which is nice because my hair grows crazy fast.
guest
Mine = less than $20. I don’t go very often. Yepp, I go to the same guy every time and a different girl does my bangs.
guest
Wow I thought I’d be in the middle range considering I’m not usually a glam girl but apparently my $60 a year (tip included) is closer to the top! I’d go twice a year if I were rich.
guest
$0, from my aunt. i go about every 6 months.
guest
25-60 + 5-20 tip, depending on how it goes. It’s hard to find who can consistently cut your hair just the way you like it.
guest
My old hairdresser was $30 plus tip. I’ve recently changed (well, about a year ago, haha) my hairdresser because my old one was too expensive for me. My current one cuts my hair just as well for a much cheaper price – $12 plus tip.
I get it cut about every 4-5 months.
guest
around $10, and once in 3 or 4 months
guest
£27.00 =] x
guest
$65 + tip… i love my stylist
guest
depends on the haircut. I usually get a regular cut which runs about fifteen bucks. However I have fallen in love with highlights. Highlights and a cut is about fifty. I always request the same one. It’s a lady that has cut my hair since I was a kid.
guest
Usually around $25-$30 depending on how much she cuts off. If just a trim then she charges me $10. She always gives me a deal
guest
$40 every 3-4 months. $52 if I get my eyebrows waxed. A bit over $60 because I tip.
And it’s 100% worth it every time.
guest
i cut my own bangs because stylists never listen to what i want or the fact i have a cowlick.
the same woman has regularly cut my hair since i was very little. she works at first choice hairdressers, so its under $20 even with tip. The problem is once she retires I will probably get my haircut at a more expensive place for like $40. I don’t get it cut often though because I am trying to grow it out. Maybe I go 3X a year these days.
guest
I pay somewhere around $20 for mine, but I usually only get it cut once or twice a year.
guest
$28 for a wash, cut and styling. pretty worth it i’d say. i cut my hair when i feel like it.
guest
20ish…… the most
guest
75sgd (50 usd) for a cut.. i have 1 hairdresser for cutting, 1 who’s great at coloring and 1 i go to only for washing & blowdrying pretty curls!
guest
I get haircuts for free because I shoplift them.
guest
way too fucking much. around 65.
guest
I cut my own
guest
The actual cut itself? $10. I get a cut, highlight, and eyebrow wax for $30. I’ve gone to this stylist my whole life, and my mom has gone to her for like 30 years too.
guest
I go to this small Vietnamese shop and pay only $10! + tip of course. I’ve been going to Asian salons my whole life. The lady who cuts my hair now just seems to know my hair looks at its best.
I go about once a year, just because I’m growing it out and there really isn’t need to more often (I’m gentle with my hair)
guest
once in a while i’ll get a haircut at this nice place for like $55-60. but every couple of months in between i get a trim at a place nearby for only $12! and they do a really nice job.
guest
I cut my own hair, using a straight razor.
guest
@Meowmeowkimmaee@xanga - omg that’s funny
cuz a lot of asian hair salons that i’ve seen around my city have that same set price, $7. i wonder what it is with 7 bucks.
guest
nothing. i’ve cut my own hair for the last seven years. it’s surprisingly easy.
guest
$6-20 depending on where I go.
guest
$15 and under I’m cheap like that
magnolia / 1354 posts
Usually $40.00 to $50.00.
When I get my hair dyed, which is becoming the only times I go and get my hair cut, I pay $120.00- $200.00. That depends on the hair colour, my hair length at the time, and if I am getting my whole head done or highlights.

30$ + tip, every 8 weeks. i’ve been going to the same guy for about a year at Regis and he’s wonderful!
guest
I pay $30 for a haircut every month. I never like how my hair looks so I always have to get a haircut or something.
guest
$6-8 every 4-6 months. I got to Phagan’s, the local beauty school on their $5 haircut days.
I’m a cheepo

$35-40 CAN every 2-3 months
guest
13-15$ every 3-6 months. I don;t like for my layers to get too long
guest
$15 plus tips. I cut it every 3-2 months
guest
$50 I like to take really good care of my hair, plus I get neon colors dyed in too so it’s prollly cheaper fer you. I go every three weeks
guest
70$ if I’m getting everything done.
guest
the most I’ve spent was $200+
and I was there for 5+ hours. but on a 2 month
bases I pay $45. This is like my weakness and I defiantly
splurge when it comes to hair D;
guest
about $20 once or twice a year
guest
Around $8 plus tip every 6 to 10 weeks. We have a ton of hair schools in my area and they are cheap and good!
guest
I am willing to pay for my hair to look natural and perfect in the face of imperfection.
guest
8 dollars every month or so.
guest
im lucky ,a friend of mine is a hairdresser.she owns a salon ssoo ya =] all free for me lol
and i do my haircut like every 2 months
guest
Mine are $80 or more, usually.
I go to Hendrickson Hair Design. It’s kind of upscale, but I won’t go anywhere else. I’ve been butchered one too many times.
But I only get my hair done once every several months, so it doesn’t exactly break the bank.
guest
i usually pay $35-40 and i only get my hair cut about twice a year.
guest
super cuts. I have long hair, and it only cost me $16 for shampoo, cut, and no blow dry. I love supercuts because they keep ur name in their system, and if u don’t like it and wanna come back the next day or so, they’ll fix it for free. =]

@xiaosnowtenshi@xanga -
omg I know what you mean. Asian places are the worse. They never cut my hair the way I like it and when I tell them I want my hair really short, they keep telling me it’s TOO short. I go to an American place now. Its a bit pricier, but soo worth it.
guest
I go see my hairstylist, Lindsey, one every couple of months. Depends on how fast my hair grows. And the price changes depending on what I have done. Usually its give or take $40 (including an eye brow wax).
peony / 4 posts
I pay 25 bucks every other month, sometimes more frequent, ive been going to the same lady for years, she does a great job
guest
nothing: I cut my own hair.
guest
i cut my own hair.. but i do need to invest in some scissors for a better cut.
guest
i pay around 90-100, without tip. my hair is ridiculously thick and almost to my butt so i have to pay extra for any colour i get. which is usually quite a lot. plus i go to a salon, so the cut itself is expensive. its worth it to me, however, because i usually cut it around twice a year because i always go to the same person and im usually away for school.
guest
Around $30 or $40. I cut my own hair now:)
hydrangea / 90 posts
$40 – $50 depending on if I only get it cut
guest
WHEN I get my hair done, I pay anywhere from $40-60. Depends on where I go, which is different most of the times.
guest
just a haircut is 25 dollars but i only cut my hair when i get it highlighted too so its 85 every 3 or 4 months
