ha. i’ve never had to use one of those lip plumpers because i was blessed with those angelina jolie wannabe lips. all lip plumpers burn. they’re made out of things everyone is allergic to. the “plumping” is an allergic reaction.

I used the lip plumping lip stick from Covergirl, it was only a mild tingle it wasn’t so bad.  It did make lips look fuller, but I really don’t bother with makeup much anymore.

I tried one of those Lip Plumpers from Victoria’s Secret. They work pretty well and it doesn’t sting/burn too much. It’s a tingle. lol

I think I’ll try that product you’re suggesting because all that I’ve tried until now failed.

Whoa, what does it actually do to your lips? Burn them until they swell up?

I have full enough lips. Never had an issue.

I don’t want to use this or anything else to get “plump” lips. 

i’ve tried the too faced lip injection (not sure if is extreme of not) i find it work realli well on me, because i realli did have the ^3^ lip for a while -thought i have pretty FULL lip already, that was just for fun while working at sephora… it didnt burn me that bad..so i guess u just needa find something more subtle or it could be a particular ingredients from it as well.  i heard the Avon one is realli good as well

DAYUM . the most i`ve paid for a lip plumper is $17 more than one time , btw . i wanna try it , but i`ve been using too many and splurging on stuff that doesn`t work . people can`t tell me that it works for them , cause lip plumpers NEVER work for me . the only way i can get plump lips is if someone punches me in the face on a daily basis . . .

@AmistadBaby@xanga - yep. my friend had one with small amounts of snake venom in it. she said it worked great and you only had to use it once a day to keep really full lips. but the more she used it the worse the burning got..

different plumpers use different ingredients to get the effect, but they’re all pretty dumb.

if you want REALLY full lips, you could always make out with a cobra…

would probably  get same result if u rub chilli on your lips. same logic.

I kind of enjoy the sharp tingling sensation that lip plumpers give my lips.

maybe the tingle means its burning. the plump is the swollen lips.

I tried a product similar to this. The burning was because it used snake venom to cause a reaction making your lips swell. After a few minutes I took it off from the horrible pain but the pain lasted much longer.

Curiouser and curiouser. If it really works, i’m definitely ready to feel the burn! (and pay for it, too!)

I agree with whoever said that the plumping is actually an allergic reaction. It is at LEAST an irritant. That’s why your lips get full, it irritates the delicate (OH SO delicate) skin on your lips and then blood rushes to them, plumping them and giving them a reddish tint.

So I’d say not to use lip plumpers… ick.

I used the plumping gloss and had a SERIOUS REACTION my lips swelled to twice the size and the skin around it and i got a rash over my whole face, i tried it on from the sample testers and the people didnt know what to do they rushed me to the cafe and they put my face in a bucket of ice.. hurt so bad and burned!! i went to the docters and they are going to do a test on me to see what the reaction was to… not nice!

I would suggest just buy a tiny bottle of cinnamon oil, I have one, been using it for past 3 years. It has worked wonders to my lips. But yes, since it is non diluted it burns a lot, if you are not careful with the amount you put on. 

I apply it using a q-tip and that’s enough to work all day long.Simple, cheap and natural.
