Yeah, I have before. I used to use this foundation that wasn’t available where I lived. One day, I realized I was running out and didn’t have enough money to buy from the actual brand’s site, so I headed over to Ebay and ordered it. It cost me less than half of what I usually paid, and the makeup worked just fine when it arrived.

I’ve never bought beauty items on eBay. I probably would not though since I have to see the item in person. I’m old-fashioned that way .

No, I rather go to the store for it to avoid issues like the one you had.

I won’t buy designer clothes or purses on ebay. I just don’t trust that. I’m a little sketchy about electronics too, but I’ve done it before.

no, cause im worried about tampering and its ebay.  who knows if its been used, abused, added, taken off.  i would never buy cosmetics or things that go on my face or body from the internet, im ok with clothes, accessories or electronics IF their good quality but i’ve never bought anything from ebay anyways so i dont know what im talking about.

I bought a bottle of calvin klein euphoria, and it was perfect!  I bought some MAC pigment, and it was fake.  You just have to be careful and know what you’re trying to get.  

I buy gizmos&gadgets on ebay… not beauty products, although I’m thinking of purchasing the liz watier portfolio on there… I don’t know where else I could purchase that in the US… =\

@lisado@xanga - there’s a website you can order it from, i think it’s called naimies… or something, but if you go to the lise watier website, there’s a “where to buy” link that will take you to the website.

i’ve bought MAC brushes and the sculpt and shape powder (when it was half and half in one pan) that were discontinued or sold out. i got a several of my MAC hello kitty items there.

I’m really lucky I haven’t gotten scammed yet. but i dont think i would ever do mascara or anything else that goes that close to my eyes on ebay…

Isee youtube gurus with hauls from youtube…& complains. I’d be careful with beauty products. I’m not saying from which country or whatever because there could be a guy down the block in the garage cutting make up with lead or some crap to make it look good. I’d rather by from a store or authorized seller online. That way if God Forbid I had a reaction to something or it wasnt what I want, I’d get a refund or exchange of some sort.

I dont like the terms of some Ebay sellers anyway. Sometimes they jack the shipping prices up (I used to work in the post office so I know the prices of things) or they dont allow returns/exchanges at all. I’m wary of final sales, especially after I had to fight to get a shipping charge reduced.

Yea, but I’ll only buy it if it is guaranteed unused and sealed. I actually have never bought mascara, though, and we use the same type! I’m going to try that next time I run out. Certainly better than the forty dollar instore ‘deal’.

i bought the coastal scents 88 palette on ebay. i bought both of them & were completely happy. i never thought about buying anything else tho. ive heard of fake MAC shadows & stuff online. makeup can expire so i guess thats what made me so sketchy about most stuff. id probably never buy a product like foundation from ebay 

That sounds like an awesome deal. I`m not much of an ebay shopper, though, but that seems worth a shot.

I have never really bought anything personal like that on ebay.  I have bought clothes before but that is about as personal as I get.
