Pros:
- Not only does this offer heat protection, it makes your hair silky soft, shiny, and frizz-free!
- Product is lightweight, non-greasy, and is released in a mist!
- Price: only about $5 at my local CVS
- My favorite part… it smells sooo good! You’ll have to try it to believe it.
Cons:
- Bottle design could be better; nozzle is somewhat hard to grasp
- Heard of some cases where it didn’t work very well, so might depend on hair type.
Overall:
Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray makes my hair sooo soft and smells great! I would definitely recommend it!
Have you tried this product? What heat protective spray do you use?

Hm. I haven’t heard of heat protecting products. I’ll have to give this product a try. Or at least a worthy read. Thanks for sharing!

I will have to try this out!

i think my bf’s mom has that…but when i tested it, the spray was a stream not a mist…maybe i didn’t turn the cap far enough =P
anyways, my mom was pressured into purchasing the CHI serum and she doesn’t use it and i found it, so once i get my new iron, im gonna use that, but i think it’ll be too heavy for my hair.
In the mean time, I use the tresemme NO FRIZZ ultra light SMOOTH shine spray. it’s REALLY LIGHT and sprays well. perfect for my hair because it’s easily affected by product but frizzy most days.

@elittlebear@xanga - when you use hair dryers, curling irons, or hair straighteners, they can all damage your hair because of the heat.
these things help for some people so that their hair doesn’t get as damaged

I use it and I love it. I also use the shampoo and conditioner from the same line every once in awhile.

Ooo I love TRESemme…I think I’ll try this because my hair always frizzes and it super obnoxious when I straighten it…

@elittlebear@xanga - You must use heat protection spray when styling hair with heat. If not, its like going out in the burning sun without sunblock.

I use this product! It was weird, when I first started using it, it felt like it made my hair dirty. But I kept using it and the feeling went away. It seems to work just fine… smells nice and my hair looks shiny after. I’d recommend it… it’s cheap too! $3-4.

i use thermasilk leave in cream…i kno, i kno…they discontinued thermasilk….but i knew it was coming and stocked up on product…its the only thing thus far that really protects my hair from the heat (and leaves it super silk and s s s s s mooth).
I’m down to my last 2 bottles tho…i may be in trouble hahaha!
guest
i use it all the time…it really does work good

i love this product, i use it everytime before i blow dry my hair, and sometimes on dry hair before i straighten it. i LOVE how soft and smooth it makes my hair.
guest
@PrityBrwnEys@xanga - I loved Thermasilk! I wish they still made it.. I had no idea they were discontinuing it until I noticed it was gone from the shelves.
I use Chi Iron-Guard for my staightener but I still have a lot of fly-aways after I straighten my hair.

I love this stuff, as well as the cream, I can’t remember the name, but it’s the conditioner type stuff you put in your hair when it’s still wet or damp and then you style with the mist stuff. ^_^ really holds the style of your hair too. ^^ without weighing it down.

I use Alberto straight and smooth cream because I like creams better. It doesn’t really give me shine (but my hair is incredibly dead from constant dying). People seem to like TreSemme, I want to try it now!
Would you guys say TreSemme, Thermasilk, or Chi?
