It’s funny how it took Ugly Betty — a TV series which makes her look awkward — to pioneer a consistent transformation in America Ferrera, where she always looks pretty and glowing. I just love her very elegant and feminine look. Her wavy locks and dewy skin make her so attractively fresh!
The tucking on this voluminous skirt by Oscar De La Renta is just ingenious and it looks great on her! I love how she kept the palette pale and monochromatic with the satin shoes.
I find this next one as Ugly-Betty-Goes-Glam. Unlike her character, she carries embellishment and color with an air of classic elegance.
I love how girly she looks here! One thing I admire about America is that she knows what works for her. She wears dresses cinched at the waist, which accentuates her voluptuous figure. It’s so pretty how her dark hair contrasts with the khaki Burberry tiered wrap dress.
I adore the lace and draping on this Vera Wang gown that she wore to this year’s SAG Awards. She worked Grecian with a touch of Victorian romance effortlessly.
She looks so striking in this DVF frock! I love the red lips with the patterned dress; she is a perfect picture of young Hollywood glam!

I like her because she’s normal pretty and has a style and body type that’s attainable. I feel like I can look up to her and try to copy her style without needing to go on a starvation diet. Plus, I love Ugly Betty.

I think it’s kinda weird that people see her as “curvy” when really she looks like most average people (because let’s face it, most “normal” people are not a size 1). On a different note, I love how she looks so prim and proper with a modern edge.

Honestly, she reminds me of a bell shape. The handle is her upper body while the poof of her dress is the large bell shape. She is not my style crush.
