I never cared for it until I fell in love with someone who had a full beard. I’ve since reverted back to preferring clean shaven men. I’m not even crazy about stubble.

yes!!!!  if it’s like this guy’s beard/my man’s, then  yessirreeee.  (though I never used to think so until a few months ago). i guess it depends on the person. my preference is all or nothing (or a little scruffyness all over).  i don’t like a goatee, just sideburns or a mustache.

that’s Reggie Bush with the chin strap facial hair.  It’s visible in the 2nd and 3rd picture.  But i don’t know what it is with it.  It can’t take over the guys face.  Once the shin straps starts connecting to the goutee and the moustache, it’s ugly and it has to be shaved ASAP.  Not a fan of moustaches.  I am a fan of scruffiness =]

i love facial hair. beards are a huge turn on for me. i think, kind of in opposition of what someone else said, it is like an essence of manliness, rather than the guy looking young. there’s something distinguished about it, to me.

I think it does depend on a guy. If I liked a guy who had facial hair, it would have to be short. I wouldnt want to kiss a carpet. LOL. I still remember the days of kissing my dad goodbye when I was young & his mustache pricking me! That HURT! It’s not the cute tickly feeling some women think it is.

I think it has to be tasteful. If it’s just scruffy and gross then no. Hugh looks mighty nice on the eyes up there ^^^

Some guys really can’t pull it off. But when they do get that rugged masculine look down, it’s a v. attractive…Just as long as they stay away from the Brawny lumberjack zone.

I’ve noticed that guys with blonde hair aren’t that equipped in pulling it off as opposed to a guy with brunette hair. Maybe that’s just me.

Facial hair is a MUST! I love it! But it has to be the right kind…goatees are gross, as is the solo mustache, but a full beard gives a guy about 100 extra points.

My god Hugh Jackman looks dead sexy there. LOL. I guess it depends on the guy… some just look stupid with facial hair. I know for certain though that I’m not into moustaches or beards. Just a SHORT goatee at most.

I like a guy to have some facial hair or at least a little bit of scruff, but still keep himself sharp and clean cut. It’s like having rugged and chic all in one package. I agree that there is something distinguished about a man with a beard, scruff, or stubble. I personally don’t mind cuddling with that; I actually like the feeling of it. I have a few guy friends who grew out their facial hair after high school, and I must say… Many of them look a lot better, with an air of maturity about them. 

There are a lot of guys who can still have beards or some hair on their face without having hair, well, everywhere else. Just because a guy has facial hair doesn’t necessarily mean he’s “hairy”. But yes, it’s a big turn on for me. BIG TURN ON = D

In general, I hate facial hair or even excessive body hair…. It’s the general lack of body hair that attracts me to east asians… amongst a number of other things…. but that is one of the reasons.

As hot as I think Hugh Jackman is… if he were to come up and try and cuddle with that beard… I’d probably flip out… in a bad way. I can’t stand the feeling of scratchy stubble/beard… It creeps me out. *shrug* I don’t know why….. it just does…

I abhor the feeling if I accidentally touch someone’s beard… and I don’t even like to hear the sound it makes when it brushes up against something hard, or if the guy scatches his face… that scratchy sound drives me up the walls… my brother does it when he wants to seriously annoy me… *shudder*

My boyfriend tends to be pretty attentive to his shaving routine. But when he neglects it for a few days and has some stubble…he looks hot.

Yep! I love it on my fiance, he won’t shave it off because I love it too much. If it starts to bug him, he’ll ask if he can or he might for a special occasion, but other than that he won’t. For me, it is a turn on. Plus, he loves to tickle me with me, and that’s one of those things I can’t stand.

i dont really care but i do tend to get with the type of guy that doesnt shave everyday,  and doesnt try to be mr.GQ. the kind of guy that when he goes out only takes a shower (if that) dresses in jeans and a button down shirt(untucked) or hoodie and leaves, he doesnt need to get pretty he is just going out with the guys (and not to meet girls). i like a man who doesnt try to be hott, he just is. for me i guess that happens to be men with facial hair. 

He looks good, but most guys look like crap trying this. It more often comes off as just slobby and unkempt looking than hot. Most guys are better looking clean shaven. And they won’t scratch up that girl in the other article’s chin.

Well, my mom always told me when I was home that she couldn’t stand facial hair, so I had always shaved it. It wasn’t until college that I would grow it out every once in a while. It didn’t look very good to me because it was completely different, but my girlfriend at the time loved it.

This summer, I learned how long to let it grow so it would look good and now I switch it up every once in a while.

It all depends.  I’m not into full beards, but nicely trimmed goatees can look really good on some guys, while on others they just need to forget the whole idea.  In general it’s really good looking on darker haired guys, whereas blondes need to shave it off.  It just doesn’t work them.

Just a lil bit, but it can’t be too crazy. And like has been said, if the guy looks ok with it. I am also a mustache hater-Unless its just a shadow thing. But you can’t really go wrong with clean shaven.

Lovelovelove guys with facial hair [barring a few pretty-boy exceptions]. It makes them look all rugged and manly [I think my brain equates facial and body hair with testosterone- a phenomenon that did not occur until I had a couple of hairy boyfriends in college who were really good at... stuff], and it also makes them look older which I like. Another plus is getting to play with their manly scruff! Mmmm.
