Faux Fur Pillbox Hat, $34

Santa hats are cute, yes, but they tend to garner a lot of negative attention towards the wearer. By this I mean the not-so-quietly-whispered remarks of, “What, is she having a bad hair day or something?” and, “What the hell is she doing, playing Santa?” That’s why this old-fashioned pillbox hat does the trick of keeping your head warm while you still look cute. And hey, maybe some of those whispers will be envious this time.

True Religions, $200

I love dark wash jeans. There’s this one almost-black-but-not-quite-there shade I’ve been looking for forever, and when I saw a pair of True Religions in the exact shade I wanted at Metropark — at the conveniently discounted price of only 2 Benjamins — I freaked. Especially since they were made of Xfit Lycra and as a result, not only did they look killer on me, they also felt like a million bucks. And at only a fraction of the price!

Figure Eight Doctor Bag, $68

I just love how roomy this bag looks while not being one of those obnoxiously over-sized styles. And its subtle imitation of Tod’s seems like savvy marketing to me.

Frye Andrea boots, $249 + Miss Sixty Adrian boots, $348

Both of these boos are so tantalizingly delicious, I don’t know which one to pick. On one hand, the Frye boots have that cute chunky angled heel, which will be stylish in 2009 as well, so a longer wear for that one. On the other hand, the Miss Sixty’s bump heel is unique and I’d definitely be passing it up if I didn’t purchase it. And it’s just so damn cute.

Help the Homeless Cookies, $40

Baked from scratch, packaged in an adorable box, and oh-so-tasty, these cookies are a truly sweet treat. Every purchase goes directly to help homeless mothers and their children fund educations, find jobs and move into homes of their own.
