Why do I love Target? Well, where else can you go get toothpaste and toilet paper, and walk out with new chic clothes for your wardrobe? Definitely not Walmart. What makes Target clothes so special and unique is that they hire real designers to create their apparel, unlike Forever 21,Wet Seal, K-Mart and Walmart. In fact, Forever 21 likes to steal a lot of their designs from designers.
They have endless amazing selections of style and designers from teens to older sophisticated women to sleek maternity moms! They signed on the talented designer Isaac Mizrah years ago to help steer Target in a new direction with fashion.
My favorite line that Target introduced a few years ago is their oh-so-chic:
Go International line. Affordable designer clothes for each season! What more can you ask for?
The Go International line has featured amazingly gifted and internationally known designers such as:
* Luella Bartley (January 2006)
* Tara Jarmon (May 2006)
* Paul & Joe by Sophie Albou (August 2006)
* Behnaz Sarafpour (November 2006)
* Proenza Schouler (February 2007)
* Patrick Robinson (May 2007)
* Libertine (July 2007)
* Alice Temperley (September 2007)
* Erin Fetherston (November 2007)
* Jovovich-Hawk (March 2008)
* Rogan (May 2008)
* Richard Chai (August 2008)
* Jonathan Saunders (October 2008)
My Favorite of the bunch are Patrick Robinson, Libertine, Alice Temperley, and Richard Chai.
Whenever a new season of Go International line is released, pick them up fast because they are only available for 90 days. What I do is wait 2 weeks when they are on sale, but if you wait 4 weeks, they drop the prices down to 50% and sometimes 70% off. I would know because I am a Go International whore.
Target is also doing us a favor by bringing us an INFAMOUS designer to the mass market.
It will be under a new line, not to be mistaken with Go International.
Designer Collaborations.

Mr. McQueen, we welcome you to the mass market with open arms.

Don’t freak out! As beautiful as his couture gowns look, he will be bringing us his earlier work like the photo below. Punk inspired. I love the layers and I love the limited neutral colors.
I went to Target to pick up more toilet paper. Unfortunately (for my wallet) but not regretfully (for my closet) I auto pilot my way into the women’s apparel section. They had a huge sale! Take 30% off of the original priced items! I was in heaven because their Go International line was on sale too.
Here are some of my favorite pieces out of all the items I picked up.
Is anyone else a Target fanatic? Is there a special store that you like to shop at because it has great fashion and sales?

i totally agree; unfortunately, there aren’t any targets in Toronto, or Canada, i don’t think

AMEN! I love Target so much so that I was so angry when England didn’t have any. Target are so cheap, and the clothes are yet fashionable! I love the monthly designers :]

None of the story you mentioned above exist in where I located (except Walmart)
Those are nice picture in the fitting room, but isn’t a bit too cold for winter?
Anyways, affordable fashion for me is Bossini, but it’s on the other side of the globe for me ….>_<….
p.s. You look pretty ^_^

Oh this saddens me.
My town is so lame that we don’t even have a target.
Tsk.
Like someone mentioned- you’re quite gorgeous.

Personally, I’m not a Target fanatic but I have heard of their great fashion for cheap and some day maybe I’ll try it. I love H&M. They a great style and the price isn’t bad at all. You can also find a few nice things in Marshall’s and such, you just have to really look for it.

We shop at Target. My room-mate (who is, ironically, shorter than I am) shops in all the designer clothes (which I still can’t afford) and I shop in the children and clearance sections. I love Mossimo (especially when it’s on sale for $2 a shirt). I also love shopping at Wet Seal, though…

If you are a teen, Target is great; however, I still think that you can
get far superior quality at JcPenny’s for roughly the same amount if you wait until the item goes on sale. Also, if you are looking for business or business casual attire, Target does not have anything on Ann Taylor, Ann Taylor Loft, Macy’s, JcPenny, etc who have amazing sales. If you wait until the mid season sales, you can buy designer clothes from these places that are higher quality and often cheaper!
Just my 2 cents

I also love Target! I buy basic clothing items there…and if I see some cute tops, I’ll buy those too. However, I do not buy their pants/jeans there. Their sizes are either too big or too small for me.

nice pics.

@elittlebear@xanga - she lives in florida, so i’m guessing what she’s wearing is probably reasonable for the weather there right now / in the winter.

i luv target! i have to try and NOT go to target because i end up spending on things i probably don’t need. those tops and jackets look so good on you!

Target’s definitely one of my favorites! In the past few years, they’ve really improved and now I’m always finding myself checking out their women’s apparel.

@Mistic_Lady@xanga - ann taylor can be quite expensive and rahter boring. I’ve also been to ann taylor loft, and i have found more “professional” attire there, although some of the styles are quite ugly. As for jc. penny, they closed the one near my house… I don’t blame them, i have found the clothes to be quite unattractive.
I’m not a huge target shopper, but i love the inexpensive designer collaborations. You get high style for a low price, as compared to something that has trickled down the fashion industry for months before it arrives at jc. penny.

i wished there was a target here in vancouver.

Target is my favorite store ever. I totally agree with you, where are you gonna be able to shop for toilet paper and toothpaste and also walk out with awesome new clothes for cheap? Love it.

Ya, I like Target. It’s a place were I can get my leggings and other cute socks. I like buying some of there t-shirts and tank tops. I can’t fit into there jeans because I’m to petite. I usually buy the girls size 14 or 16. Sometimes, I can fit the size 12, but it depends on the type of jeans. I usually fit into size 12 for the wide flare one’s for girls. I got them when they were on crazy sales like $7 for the girls jeans on ALL sizes! I also bought some leggings for only around $2.00 which is WAY cheaper than FOREVER 21.
I’ve found some cute HELLO KITTY pjs set at Target and some cute kitty and cloud pj sets, also. It’s just a very amazing place to shop. Once I enter Target, I feel like I can never get out. They have an amazing variety of clothing, foods, gift stuff, and their beauty product selections are amazing, too! ♥

I love Target! I just have to try not to spend a million hours shopping there or a million dollars, which is difficult… Target has cute bathing suits in the summer :3

I’ve never shopped at Target. I might give it a try.

i agree. i LOVE target. and im not ashamed to tell my friends so. i mean the quality of their clothes is actually better that some retail stores at the mall. the fabric feels great, the stitching is great and the price is great. plus they’re VERY fashionable. when i first came to america, the first store my mom brought me was actually at target. i went crazy LOL
since then i’ve been going there all the time. H&M is another of my faves. and the prices aren’t bad either. my last one would be old navy lolz
iono.. i just love those three places to shop for. <3

I looooooove Tarzhay! The quality and style of everything they sell is often so far superior to Wal-Mart or Kmart, but the prices are only slightly higher–and sometimes, not higher at all.
And while the clothes there are great, the housewares are just as good, perhaps even better. My sweetie and I are hoping to buy a bigger house this year, probably late spring/early summer, and I’ve already got a big wish-list of items I’d love to put into the new place, including all the selections to do a fabulous light blue/pale golden taupe/chocolate brown guest room and a Paris-themed bathroom. Hey, I figure if we’re going to have more space to furnish, we may as well do it as stylishly as possible for the least amount of money, right?
We’re also hoping to be married before next Christmas, and, needless to say, we will be registering at Target. I’m not sure if he knows this yet, but, you know…since the bride is usually the one to handle the registry…LOL…

Oh I love Alexander McQueen! and Vivienne Westwood as well!

Finally someone who also sees the light! I totally love Target too and I liked the outfits you picked out. Haven’t been to Target recently .. but now I think I should

Target rocks.
I got this awesome black, faux fur trimmed jacket for about 40 AUD!
Which is just fantastic because a few months before when I was in Malaysia I saw the almost exact same one, in white, for about 100 AUD.
I nearly fainted.

..actually, none of the clothes she picked are actually TRENDY right now. they’re nice, to be sure. but trendy, no. those are clothes that would look nice at any time. trends right now are loud prints, booties, peace signs, etc.

I LOVE TARGET.
